Miss Honey was no exception! She has been a client of ours for quite some time and we send lots of love and cuddles to her owners on her passing, shes bounding through the heavens above us now, over the rainbow bridge and onto whatever lays beyond 🌈💕 RIP Honey ✨

I know were all now feeling the chill in the air in the mornings and overnight, winter has well and truely moved in! ❄️🥶
Please remember if your furry friend lives outside or are even just outside for the day, especially if they've got longer and/or thicker coats, While the top of their coat may appear dry and it may look warm to have all that extra hair this time of year.. Dogs with double coats and long hair can result in the top layer being dry but the underlying coat staying wet. This will cause serve matting, skin conditions and irritation and leave your pet cold and uncomfortable. Imagine wearing wet clothes underneath your jacket, it wouldn't keep you very warm, would it?
Even at this time of year, regular grooming, both brushing, clipping and washing is very important to keeping your pets hair healthy and keep your pet comfortable. Warm bedding and a jacket is more beneficial to your pet then knotted and damp hair will be.

We use warm bath water and heated blow dryer to keep your pet as comfortable as possible and all grooming is done inside out of the cold.

After 18 wonderful, memory filled years together our beautiful old soul Bella has passed over the rainbow bridge. 🌈
Reunited with those who have passed before her in a place that is free from any pain, illness and is completely ageless. Awaiting the day we will all be reunited to once again be together again. 🫂

Good morning to all of our furry friends and family!
Appointments are filling fast for the coming week already! If youre looking to get your furry friend in for grooming, dont delay, book today!
Below is a great example of the key matting areas on long coated dogs, no matter if theyre curly or straight coated!
Red- Due to these areas constantly moving and brushing against things, these areas are your first priority as they get knotted the quickest
Yellow - These areas are the next most important as similarly to the red zones these areas are moving quite a lot and will get quite knotted from day to day activities.
Blue - These are the brush last areas because they generally dont mat up quite as fast as the other areas of the body. While still important to brush, it should be done as the last priority.
When brushing your pet remember to seperate the hair and brush right through the coat, not just the top layer of hair as this way youre stopping your pet from any pain that matting can cause. If you are wanting to keep your pets coat long, it is important to keep it healthy and mat free for their comfort and health.
