School holiday fun - when you get to hang out with dad, drive the car to do deliveries, and get a chance to pat some horses on the way...made her day!

Heytesbury HT 2024 🌟

OPT Velvet performed a lovely calm test heading into SJ on 73.7%. Having a yucky chip got us a rail but had a lovely clear XC to finish 6th in the 5/6 Young Horse 80 class.

Magnus Que Cee kicked off his first 1* like a champ. Scoring 63% and placing 9th after dressage. We had an unlucky rail at the first fence is SJ but went on to jump a great round. He was a dead set SUPER STAR XC, jumping clear and under time to finish 7th in a big, competitive field. This horse hasn’t even finished his first eventing season and with every challenge he improves.
Big thank you to Beasy Racing for trusting me with such a beautiful, talented horse.

Tonimbuck HT 2024 🌟

OPT Velvet’s dressage test was a little tense but she market pretty well scoring 69%. Tapped one unlucky rail in the SJ, but jumped a lovely round. And clear under time XC to finish 6th in a big section. Very impressed with her for her first EA95.

Magnus Que Cee did his best test yet, however not scoring very well, going into the jumping on 66%. He then Show jumped CLEAR (very proud- we had three rails last comp) and went clear under time XC to also come 6th. He just keeps getting better and better 🥹

Excited to head to Wandin with all three in a few weeks.

Very consistent weekend at HT!

Magnus Que Cee doing his PB test in his first ever EA95 scoring 71% and placing 2nd. Going on to jump clear and bang on time in the XC. Unfortunately tapping three rails down in the SJ, but still being ahead enough place 3rd overall and win Best Performed OTT.

OPT Kaiser performed a beautiful first half of his test before getting a fright and losing marks in the second half. However he jumped clear XC and clear SJ to also place 3rd overall. Extremely proud of how far he has come. Especially considering we were eliminated at the first CX fence two competitions ago.

Thank you mum, the BEST strapper & organiser I could ask for, wouldn’t be where I am today without you 🤍

SUPER weekend spent at Gisborne HT 🫶🏽

OPT Velvet - Performed a lovely dressage test in the EVA 80 5/6 class, scoring 70%. Going on to jump clear SJ and XC to finish on her dressage score, placing 4th. This little mare is maturing beautifully.

OPT Kaiser - Also did a great test, placing 2nd with 74% in the EV65. Unfortunately picking up 2 rails in the SJ, dropping to 8th heading into XC.
Had a spook before the water which he picked up (what I think) was an unfair 20 penalties. But jumping a beautiful round otherwise. Enormously proud of his efforts over the weekend though. Hard work is paying off.

A few honourable mentions to the wonderful people that helped me even get to the competition, after floating disaster. Kevin Corstens, who so kindly lent me his car!!
Dave Deanwho offered me a place to keep the ponies because we couldn’t take our yards 😳
