That's a wrap for 2023.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Bec's Place this past year. We are now closed and will reopen on January 2nd 2024 for horse riding lessons.

Holidays programs January 2022 🐴

Thursday 13th and 20th January 2022 - Horse Games: 9am - 12pm ages 7 - 14 $80
A non riding program teaming up with our horses to discover ways to have fun with them other than just going for a ride. Smaller prizes to be won throughout the morning and finishing with a major prize of a 1 hour private lesson at Bec's Place.

Wednesday 19th January 2022 - Horse Ownership 101 Workshop: 9am - 2pm ages 12 - 20 $100
A hands on, non riding day, learning all that is involved in owning your own horse from feeding and rugging to basic first-aid.

Thursday 27th January 2022 - Parents Workshop: 9am - 12pm $80
Tired of watching your child have all the fun around horses? This non-riding workshop is all about learning the basics of handling and understanding our equines. On completion your confidence will have grown and you will be able to support your child through their equine journey. You may even reignite your childhood dreams and continue on your own journey.

All workshops are non riding, maximum attendance of 10 and Covid safe.
Morning tea will be supplied on all days. BYO drink bottle and/or snacks. You will need to BYO lunch if attending the Horse Ownership 101 Workshop.

What an exciting day here at Bec's Place... the long awaited dozer has arrived and made a huge mess preparing the site for the new riding arena. I just want to thank all my past and present clients for helping make this upgrade possible 😊🙏🐴

Horse Ownership 101 Learning Day at Bec's Place

Date : Thursday, 15 April 2021
Cost : $100 per student

This day is suited to anyone between the ages of 10 and 20 who is interested in owning their own horse. You will be educated on all that is involved in owning your own horse to help you decide if you are ready to take on that responsibility.

Day starts at 9am and finishes at 3pm including a morning tea break (supplied) and a lunch break (BYO).

Please note that this will be a non-riding day. You will be working hands on learning the basics from catching your horse through to general first-aid.

Students will be required to wear long pants and closed in shoes. If you already have your own in date Australian Standard Safety helmet (AS3838) that's great otherwise Bec can supply you one for the day.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please contact Bec on 0400 203 720. Places are limited to 10 and payment is required when booking to guarantee your place.

Bec's Place will be closing from 24th December until 4th January for a well earned break. Myself and all the animals here at Bec's Place would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a lovely start to 2021.
I also want to thank everyone who came and supported my business since it opened in July, it's been amazing. Thank you.

Meet the new additions to Bec's place, two brumby fillies who arrived today from Follyfoot Equine Rescue & Rehab South Coast NSW Inc. I'm looking forward to my new adventure with them. A massive thank you to Libby Buttress for making all this possible.

Dolly's end to 2019 was much the same as everyone's along the South Coast. Dolly and her paddock mates were very lucky to escape the summer bush fires. Unfortunately it left her extremely traumatized, even a breath of wind would have her panicking. Thanks to Libby Buttress and Tess Clark, Dolly was able to come to Bec's place and chill in the paddock and have unlimited attention (although only when she wanted it) It has been a long road but with a set of ear muffs to help ease her now sensitive ears we are seeing the quiet beginners horse that she was last year. I know I have missed her and I'm so so happy to have my beautiful girl back to her normal self again. 💜🐴💜

Bec's Place had very beautiful water views last weekend with the paddock across the road turing into a lake.
Before we flooded I ordered a load of sand for the riding yard so it would recover from the rain better. Not only has it recovered well it stopped most of the water getting in 😊
The horses enjoyed a roll in the mud and turned their rugs muddy brown 😂
Buddy, Cherrie, Dolly and I are looking forward to seeing everyone again next week!

At the beginning of the week we not only welcomed 4 baby chickens but also received over 200ml of much needed rain, unfortunately it flooded my paddocks and riding yard but filled my dams and tanks. 🐣🐥😊

Thank you everyone for supporting me in the opening of Bec’s Place. I have been overwhelmed by the response and as such spaces are filling fast. Booking are essential and for those of you who have already booked please remember to wear appropriate clothing, footwear and most of all bring a jacket as it can get quite cold. I had a great day yesterday catching up with some new and familiar faces and I really appreciate Robyn Casey support on my first day.

Hi, my name is Rebecca Colebrook, welcome to my new business “Bec’s Place”.
For the past 3 years I have been teaching people of all ages from beginner to intermediate horse-riding skills. I enjoy being able to show people how to safely ride and be around horses whilst also enjoying themselves and having fun.
Commencing Wednesday, July 1, 2020 I will have the pleasure of opening up my business and property to you giving you an opportunity to visit all my quirky animals who live here. These include horses, goats, pigs, ducks, chooks, guinea fowls, dogs and cats. If you’re lucky our local wildlife may also pop in for a visit.
I welcome you to come for a horse-riding lesson or just a ‘cuddle and pat’ with my goats and Australian miniature pigs. As this is a work in progress, your patience and understanding whilst improvements and better facilities are being built is kindly appreciated.
