Beyond proud! Rienk stal de Oergong in the voorrij dagen! What a superb stallion! Half brother from our own Star mare Wietske stal de Oergong. Same mum! Tears in my eyes watching it.

Our Mr Casanova Ynte fan Friesian Dreams first thing in the morning when he comes out of the stables is to go straight to “his” girls Meisje, Sietske and Ypke fan Friesian Dreams and greet them. But not this morning!!
Last night was his first night in his own stable next to mum Wietske her stable so the first thing he did went he got in his paddock with mum is to relieve mum from a huge udder 😂. And mum does the name Friesian proud as she is a damn good milk producer. www.friesiandreams.com.au **t

With SA in a drought hay is harder and harder to get so for the last 2 weeks we have been driving all over to buy up hay to feed our babies! The hay shed is now chock a block with oaten and moby barley hay. So we should be ok till at least October. Never a dull moment here at Friesian Dreams.

For the first time in many years Friesian Dreams will be showing at the Heavy Horse Festival this coming weekend at Wirrina Cove. We will be showing our young Star Stallion Jelte fan Friesian Dreams. This will be his first ever show and he will be under saddle. Our girl Nikkie van den Burg will be riding him. Super excited to see this pair in the show ring. We will be there on both days. Satisfaction!! When you both come home after a long day’s work and you still have to clean the stables and make all the food for 17 horses but knowing you are greeted by beautiful souls! There is no better feeling then that and knowing we build all this with our own pair of hands, no handouts just hard work and lots of love!

Today a dear friend of us gave us a beautiful update from one of our horses. Wrennie fan Friesian Dreams.
She is enjoying life in Victoria and is doing very well and enjoying jumping.
Wrennie always had a special place in our hearts as she was born on my dad’s birthday. She is by our Warmblood mare Madison x Geert W. So glad our girl is enjoying life to the max with Mands Scurrah.

Can’t believe it is 6 years ago! But oh what have we been blessed with this exceptional mare! So glad it was love at first sight. Lots of people called me crazy to buy a small foalbook mare but when your heart and guts tell you something you have to follow it. And my guts and heart were so right!!! Our beautiful Star mare Wietske stal de Oergong also produces the most stunning offspring.
Hi all a quick update on our new mare Wietske. We got her blood test back and all clear for import to Australia. This week she has also been inseminated with Omer 493. So fingers crossed. Plus also this week Gonny Zwaagman-Frieswijk dropped off her papers to the KFPS and she has been put into our name. It’s all happening!

Hi all. Just a quick update on Willeke fan Friesian Dreams. She arrived safe and sound this afternoon around Ballarat area thanks to Valley Horse Transport. Tyson is just fantastic with young horses. Alina was over the moon with her and Willeke did what every Friesian does and that is eat. I bet she will have a good sleep tonight.

Today there will be mixed emotions at Friesian Dreams! As today Willeke fan Friesian Dreams will be travelling to her new home. It is always sad to see our babies go but knowing that they will get another great home is comforting. Plus it’s great to see that Victoria will be another superb Friesian Dreams horse richer. Willeke is out of our super powerful Star mare Wietske stal de Oergong (Haitse x Jerke) by our Star stallion Ypeus fan ‘e Vesta Hoeve.
We wish her new owner Alina Shegirova all the love , fun and happiness in the world with this beautiful superb filly. But we will mis her that’s for sure. www.friesiandreams.com.au

Good Morning all. We have some awesome news. Ypke fan Friesian Dreams has passed her IGg test with flying colours. Vuitton is doing well also. She had a retained placenta that didn’t wanted come loose. With trying to get vet out on Wednesday to give us a hand was an absolute nightmare. We tried at least 15 different vet clinics but none of them could come out. Our dear friend and top vetenarian surgeon Bill Harbison heard we had trouble so he rushed out from all the way from Gawler to remove the placenta. As usual we can’t thank him enough. An absolute legend. Ypke is such a friendly filly and is for sale once weaned. Bloodline is Ypeus x Epke 474 x Maurus 441. www.friesiandreams.com.au

So we all know how Mike loves his music! The louder the better. You also know how his day is going by what music he listens too. Normally he listens to Trance music as that makes him happy. Today his music choice was how his week was. He picked Rianna. Rude Boy!! OMG I hope he never gets to romantic as then we might have to listen to Celine Dion😂😂😂. Have a great weekend all!

The update that lots of you have been waiting for!! Sietske-Stella fan Friesian Dreams had her IGg test late yesterday afternoon and she passed with flying colours. Thank you Rebecca from Windrush vet for coming out after your Christmas lunch for doing this. As Petunia was running milk for a day and a half we were a bit worried about that but thanks to the super duper colostrum we collected from our mare Allira who sadly lost her colt last season and what we put in the freezer our newest member got the liquid gold she needed. So this morning Petunia and Sietske were over the moon to be let loose in their paddock! So now as we can not keep them all,even that we would love to keep our first ever ET foal born at Friesian Dreams She will be on the market. What a little beauty!! Our ET foal Sietske-Stella fan Friesian Dreams. It stays so special and amazing this ET thing. To think about it that Wietske had her first for 10 days then she got put into a washing machine ( flushing fluid) then sucked into a straw and then put into Petunia who carried her for 11 months.
