We are now FULL for this clinic on Saturday. Thanks for the overwhelming response, we are going to keep numbers low in the clinics so everyone has plenty of time on cattle. We have a waitlist and are hoping to to be able to run one on Sunday the 18th. Please message if interest in Sunday.

And that's a wrap! A massive thank you to Lachie and Bec Sim for all the wisdom they imparted to us and our horses this weekend. The weather was great and the company even greater!!
Thanks to Jess and Rob at Gundaroo Equestrian Centre at Ambrosia Park for being wonderful hosts and welcoming us into their blissful piece of paradise!

PSA for all Murrumbateman Campdraft Clinic participants this weekend - (those who have paid and confirmed)
1) Please bring your waiver with you if you haven't sent it to me already
2) Please note the address of the venue is 5087 Gundaroo Rd Gundaroo (there has been some confusion) Gundaroo Equestrian Centre at Ambrosia Park.
3) Murrumbateman Rd is still closed so ensure you allocate enough time to go via an alternate route (yass valley way perhaps).
4) Please pack plenty of water for yourself and stay hydrated throughout the day. Forecast is looking likely to be a top of around 30 degrees.
5) LETS HAVE FUN!!! YIHAAAW!!

NOW ACCEPTING BOOKINGS

Clinic date 25th & 26th Feb 2023

First in first served basis, please pm the Murrumbateman Campdraft Clinic for payment details saying "book me in baby!" and I will respond with payment details. Your spot is secure once payment clears and I will confirm this.

There are limited spots (12 only) and interest has been incredibly high so full payment is required to secure your spot. Cost of clinic is $350 per person for the 2 days.

Clinic will cover establishing the fundamental skills, such as stops, turns, correct lead, opportunity to work a mechanical cow, and maybe even draft a kid on a quad! This will be an incredibly fun and relaxed event for the beginner campdrafter where 'having a go' and 'having a laugh' will be our motto!

Venue is Gundaroo Equestrian Centre at Ambrosia Park - refer to site for directions, booking yards and/or accommodation.

G'day folks. Getting insurance is proving difficult as we aren't a club or an individual but rather a group of random individuals. If anyone has any suggestions leave a comment, otherwise we may look to delay the clinic to investigate further.
I'm currently seeing if a new venue will cover us under their insurance because we don't qualify to be covered under councils. I'm also looking into cover with Affinity but it's likely we won't be able to get that in time to give people enough notice. I'll continue to research but happy for suggestions.

Meet the clinicians!!

The Sim's are a husband and wife team that compliment each other so well when it comes to horse training. They have been breaking and training their own horses for over 15 years and currently have one of the best teams on their truck that they've ever had.

Both competitive and skilled in their own right...

There isn’t much Lach hasn’t done, he has done the ASHS Nationals on many occasions and very successful in that arena, in addition to the Cutting Pen and the Campdraft Arena. He is one of the top Competitors within the SCA.

Bec started out a little differently in the Western Pleasure arena where she represented Australia overseas on 2 different occasions and successfully competed in the cutting arena. These days she is a busy mum of 2 little kids and having some fun in the Campdraft Arena and providing the occasional private lesson.
