Waymere Stud located in Narrabri, northern NSW has been in operation for over 30 years. We take pride in breeding quality Australian bred stock, suitable and successful in a variety of equine disciplines, such as, campdrafting, dressage, hacking, polo cross, led, jumping, pony club events etc. For many years Waymere Stud was the home of the versatile and well loved sire "Kirkbys Stud Wallaroo" (Qu

idong Brigadier/Elliotts Creek Cadet, dam Kirkbys Mercury). He successfully competed in all facets of ASH competition and campdrafting. Our foundation broodmares have produced superior quality progeny that you see competing today with the "W" brand. In 2019 we lost our amazing sire “Oaks Ebony” in son of the legendary Doc's Freckles Oak. His loss prompted our decision to wind back the stud and retain only a few of his progeny for us to enjoy. Waymere will still bred 1-2 a year due to still retaining our HSH stallion "Waymere Inspector" by Kirkbys Stud Officer.

Jurys out on the boots keeping the m**f off Perfect-Piggy! Unfortunately not strong enough for these conditions. Tear marks and slipped down. They did however keep some of the mud off her legs.
You can see how muddy it can get
Welcome any other options. But at this stage think i’ll resort to some vetwrap bandages 🤦‍♀️

Update on the little Princess. 💕
Brighter today even a little trot in the yard. Out today on a little green fresh grass patch under a lovely shady tree! Of course with grandma Rosie looking over the fence.
This baby filly lost her mother “Indra Lass” 😢on the weekend whilst in Tamworth Equine Hospital.

I too have just recently purchased my first waymere horse and we absolutely love him he will be in our family until the very end. I actually went though all your photos and found some gorgeous pics of him as a foal and i wish i could clone him. I brought him for my 9yrold boy to do Campdrafting , stockhorse shows and so much more . And we are just in love with our “Waymere oaks Locklan “ i am sad to hear that you wont be breeding anymore special unicorns , but so thankful and lucky to have our boy.
