HARD AT WORK (not): Abbey decided to "supervise" today's baking by sleeping right where I needed to stand. She was hoping a treat or two may fall off the bench. Instead she got covered in flour!

WE'RE BACK IN THE KITCHEN!
We were stoked when asked if we could bake some treats that will be given as gifts to friends. We don't want to ruin the surprise so won't say too much, but it's nice to see such generosity in these trying times. And as a small business that has lost its main distribution channel (local markets), we really appreciate the support.

We should be baking up a storm. Cooper should be stressing because Abbey keeps eating all the treats and there won't be enough to sell at the Agility Trial this weekend.

Instead we're laying around drinking beer. Wait, WHAT?

Ok so only kidding about the beer. But it's true that the Parkes & District Kennel Club Inc. Agility Trial was cancelled. Bummer. The GOOD NEWS is that the raffle will go ahead. So you can still win packs of our awesome treats!

Good luck to everyone who purchased tickets - at least there'll be some happy doggos this weekend!

What do you mean these are vegan biscuits? I'm sure they're dog biscuits!

Abbey and Cooper can't get enough of the new banana and blueberry biscuits. They're gluten free, and free from animal products, so they're suitable for the most sensitive tummies!

So we alll know how devastating the bush fires are. Our hearts go out to all those who have been impacted - humans and animals. Which is why we're supporting the wonderful fundraising initiative of The Wonderdogs. We've ordered our copy of the book (who knows, maybe we'll learn a trick or two!) and thought some of our wonderful friends might like to do the same.

SOLD OUT

Update... We are blown away by the response we have had. Thank you for all being so generous. We have sold out of book.... Once all the money has been transfered we'll let you all know how much we have raised..

FUNDRAISING for Wildlife affected by fires.
We are beyond heartbroken by the current fire situation and all want to help in some way.
This weekend Dr Katrina and I are selling copies of our Wonderdogs Tricks book for $25 and donating the entire amount from each book to WIRES … we have already raised over $1200 proving that every little bit does help and adds up!
Right now, fundraising is the most helpful thing we can all do so that funds can be used for feed, water stations, medical supplies and veterinary costs. We will donate this money directly to the WIRES Emergency Fund.
Our book is full of training tips and easy tricks that you can teach your puppy or dog at home – it’s a great gift for a new puppy parent or anyone wanting to have fun with their dog.

When we started 7 months ago, we never dreamed that things would grow so big so quickly. We are truly appreciative of the support we have received from everyone - hoomans and puppers alike. From the taste testers to our customers - thank you. We couldn't do what we do without you. ❤
A special shout out to Alex and Steve who have helped with stall set up and pack up many times - even when they weren't involved in the markets themselves! And a big thank you to Debi Coleman who has supported the Barkery and provided some great feedback during product development.
With plans for new products in 2020, it's looking like an exciting year ahead. We hope you'll join us and share in the excitement!

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us, not only today but throughout the year. One of the perks of the job is hearing about all of your lovely puppers! We love our job!

After a hectic couple of weeks, we're taking a short time out to recharge the batteries. But don't panic - we'll be back next week, ready to start perfecting the Christmas treat range!
