As some of you already know I have been suffering with kidney/bladder problems for quite some time. I am in need of an operation which is now happening 10th June, with 4-6week recovery so I will not be grooming again untill mid July (estimate)

Anyone that has a booking with me over the next few coming weeks i am currently working through those appointments individually and will contact you soon.

As the cold weather is fast approaching❄️
it's important to know that grooming doesn't stop in winter and is vital for your pets overall coat condition, health and wellbeing.

Did you know? 🤔
A healthy coat is like a thermos - it acts as a temperature regulator, keeping warmth in during the winter and keeping heat out during the summer. Winter weather can also be harsh on your dogs fur, leading to dryness, matting, and increased shedding.

Avoid ⚠️
●Dead hair that can lead to skin irritation and hot spots.
●Heavy Matting
●wet doggie smells 🐽
●dry skin

Tips ☝️
●brush fur regularly
●regular warm baths
●avoid using clothing (jumpers and jackets)
Once fur is about 1 inch in length as this rub against the hair causing matting.

PLEASE KEEP TO YOUR REGULAR GROOMING SCHEDULE AND REQUEST FOR ONE OF OUR MAINTENANCE PACKAGE'S..

*NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS*
21st February - 3rd march stardogs will be closed as I will be spending 10 days on a meditation retreat. My mobile will be turned off during this time & I will not have any access to my phone whilst in the retreat. Therefore calls cannot be answered. Any messages I receive I can only reply at the end of the 10 days which is 3rd march. This is something I've never done before & will be a challenge but I am determined to finish the whole course. 🕉🧘‍♀️🛕

Although this season is beautiful it does bring with it grass seeds, which can become stuck in your dogs paws & skin. Regular bathing, cleaning & a general check over your dog's coat can keep on top of this & out of the veterinary clinic.
