πLot 22 | The Points Kingdoc Isabelπ
Selling this Wednesday at the Winter Opportunity Sale Bendigo.
The story of the Isabelβsβ¦
Ian's Grandfather, the late Roy Smith, purchased a big white holstein cow from Mick Vallance at Bacchus Marsh in the early 1960's.
She was taken back to the family farm at Wollert and Ian's parents named her Isabel and from there the family continued to develop. The bull Blossom Park Royal Breuo was purchased from the dispersal sale of Blossom Park Stud at Mill Park that was run by Brother Thornton. This mating resulted in a heifer that we purchased from the family when we started out at The Points. She was flushed to Hardtac and the family flourished from then on.

After 34 years of breeding, The Points Holsteins will have their final herd dispersal selling their remaining 135 Holsteins including 10 XB cows. The sale will consist of both freshly calved autumn cows and spring calving cows.
We look forward to reflecting on our dairying journey on the lead up to this sale before we officially hang up the cups on the 5th of July.
