Meet Ted this beautiful Alaskan malamute pup who is 4th mths old. He came in today because he had a grass seed in his chest.

Our fabulous vet Alysha went to investigate Little Ted & found lots more grass seeds throughout his body but after quite some time… he woke up well and was happy to see his dad and go home.

It’s that time of the year again, snakes are well and truly out and about!

Signs of a potential snake bite can be one or a combination of the following:
* Vomiting
* Dilated pupils
* Shaking/wobbly legs
* Lethargy
* Increased salivation
* Blood in urine
* Trouble breathing
* Pale gums

Sometimes after a snakebite dogs & cats can have a “false recovery” and will appear normal again. However they generally become critical only moments later.

If you have seen your pet with a snake or they are showing any of the signs listed above veterinary attention is needed ASAP!
