We have had a little hiatus at H&H but are now back in business and ready for any new enquiries. We can also offer some limited dog minding in our own home, as long as your little (or big!) fur babe is happy to have a companion in our bear called Lebowski. He is a considerate and chilled young man who likes the company of others. Just overall, a great Dude.

FOSTER HOME NEEDED 🐕

Bonded pair Benson & Bonney are on the hunt for a dedicated foster carer. These two have been living together for four years now, ever since Bonny was just a puppy. Benson is a sweet snuggler who likes the occasional game of ball - he is the more affectionate of the two. Bonney is Miss Independent; she likes to investigate and will dig out of inadequate fencing.

This gorgeous pair have spent much of their life on a chicken farm. They are great with fowl, but Bonney is not very fond of other dogs so they would be best suited to a home where they are the only canine residents. They are partial to music and find it relaxing; jazz, light opera and country music preferred!

Meet the Humans: Nathan

Nathan has owned dogs since the age of three, when a Great Dane/ Rhodesian Ridgeback cross wandered into the property his family was living on in Madang, Papua New Guinea and Nathan threw his arms around the dog’s neck and asked if he could keep him. Tige, the loveable buffoon had no idea how big he was, and used to lie across the hall way like some kind of canine hedge for the three-year-old to clamber over. It began a love affair with all dogs, and big dogs in particular.
There is something unique and irreplaceable about the joy a dog can bring and Nathan has been lucky enough to have some wonderful dogs be part of his life. He feels a genuine affection and affinity with them, and is yet to meet a dog his calm and reassuring voice and demeanour can’t win over with the right environment a little bit of time. Whether it’s playing with a ball in the park, chasing sticks at the beach, getting little belly rubs or full-blown cuddles on the couch, your furry friend is guaranteed to have a great time with Nath, and you can bet Nath won’t be having such a bad time either.

This is a special post about a beautiful girl in need of her forever home. Located in Victoria. I can vouch for Xena because we were her foster carers for a few months. She has been tested now with a variety of farm animals and you can read about what kind of family and environment she is best suited to. Xena deserves a loving and caring family that will take great care of her for the rest of her life. She's warm and affectionate and just wants to be loved in return.
