I thought it was a perfectly good idea to hide out in the air conditioning all afternoon. And while some did agree with me, we were outvoted 6 - 10.
So here we are getting hot and bothered for 5 minutes until they all decided that the air con did sound like a good idea.

Ordinarily, Barney spends his days relaxing on the couch and giving me the stink eye when I suggest he should come outside.
Introducing Monty, the Motivator, to Barney has brought out his competitive side. And both boys raced each other around the yard all morning.
I guess Barney can have a couch day tomorrow.

We had a very productive day off today. And when I say we, I mean me!
While the Monsters relaxed in beds and in the sun, I sprayed the weeds, mowed the grass, cleaned water buckets, and visited the Vet to pick up Wookies heart meds and food.
Now we (see above) can relax with an adult beverage and play with the Monsters.

We headed up to Coolum this morning for the grand opening of Unleashed Dog Trainings new indoor training and grooming facility.
Everyone had a blast. The Girls and Disco had a go on the Woofer Wagon self-propelled treadmill.
And we met little Jem, who is already proving to be a bit of a handful 🤣.

Woohoo! The fences are finished, and we have some awesome new yards.
The front yard, or Run Free Yard, is a rentable single user, secure, off lead area where dogs can be trained, or just have fun playing in and on the equipment that will make it's way into the yard in the next little while. We'll have a bunch of toys, some agility gear, as well as some dog friendly flowers, herbs, and fruits and veges that they can roll around in, sniff and eat. If you are interested in hiring the Yard let me know, and I can send you the link to the booking page (current clients and people I know).
The next gate opens to the Laneway, which fences off the septic sprinklers and keeps all of the Monsters away from that water.
The third gate leads into the Monsters yard. Yes, we have upgraded to a MUCH larger space. Again we'll have play equipment, plants to munch on and lots of room to run around.
There is some tidying up that I need to do over the next couple of weeks while we are on holidays, and a couple of tweaks that I want to make so my life is easier.
Thanks to Jacob, Mitch and Aiden from @jmhruralcontracting for a fun week, and allowing the Monsters to have space to run around for as long as possible.

With the Boys working right outside the cat enclosure today, it's been pretty loud at times. I allowed lots of escape routes, but we also had socialisation time. Some of the Monsters surprised me, and I'm sure some owners are going to be surprised when they watch this video and see just how unconcerned about the noise everyone has been.
