People rave about structure but it’s not until you see those straight legs, correct ear set proportionate back and head that you really get the whole structure package, and to see it at only 14 weeks old, it’s mind blowing 🥰😍

And just like that our second to last litter has arrived. A dash early, but they are all entirely perfect welcome to the world Little ones Zora and Khan have done so well 🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎

This is why it’s soo important to desex your dogs.
Yesterday was our big desexing day for all our babies who will be joining their forever homes. Everything went well and everyone was fine. but when I went to pick everyone up, the vet said “hey come check this out” one of our girls had a closed pyometra so there were no symptoms at all, she was eating, drinking running around and had a spring in her step that morning.
The size of the pyo was literally the size of my fist, so she could have had such a different outcome if she wasn’t desexed yesterday.

These babies just blow my mind, Blink Twice’s full siblings

Well hello fabulous dog world!
I have a little announcement to make, the last 9 years of breeding French bulldogs have been some of the best and most satisfying years of my life. They have also been some of the toughest, and taught me more than I ever could have expected from how venerable and fragile life is to how rewarding hard work can be. Some of the friendships I have made will be with me for life and some I have learnt from.
But the next two litters that are already on their way, Will be my last. As I find myself in a place of not wanting to achieve anything more. I set out into this venture with the goal of producing some of the best rojo and Isabella puppies out there with great health and fantastic structure and I feel like I have achieved my own personal goal and now focusing on furthering my education and making my family life my priority.
So thank you all for your amazing support over the years 💜 it hasn’t gone unnoticed.
It’s been a ride dog world, it’s been a ride

It’s offical Mr Carter will be living his retired forever life with me as we take on our next adventures 💜 he is now desexed 🤎🤎🤎

The legendary man himself Mr Carter, some people don’t actually know the story behind Carter being here so here is a little run down/ history lecture 😂
For a few years orivet could not test for chocolate in French bulldogs🍫, and occasionally DNA would come up saying a dog carried chocolate, (it was extremely rare to see though). And even when that dog was paired with a visual chocolate dog ( we would test this by the red eye glow test) it would result in no visual chocolate puppies being born. So that’s how testable chocolate and non testable chocolate got their names. Which then became rojo and Cocoa ( which is what we refer to them as now). They were also deemed not compatible as far as reaching the goal of producing visual chocolate frenchies.
So we decided to import some semen from overseas, which happened to come from a dog named Elvis (little pixie face zsombi) owned by Agnes Faddi We chose him because his DNA was appearing as two copies of this magical chocolate ( that made him a visual) that was coming up on our dna result over here. With the incredible help from CJ at Our World of Bulldogs the semen arrived in Australia.
So this is the fun part our fur child Alaska carried this magical chocolate gene that was traced all the way back through her lineage to some frozen semen stored in America that at the time was 19 years old. Alaska was paired with Elvis, which resulted in a confirmed pregnancy. And from this pregnancy we got one little girl named Savanna and 2 boys one named Bosko and the other I think you know who he is, ( 🙊 Mr Carter)
You can only imagine our excitement as we could confirm from the second they were born that the boys were in fact visual chocolate puppies. A vet nurse at the clinic asked me what my perfect DNA would be if I could choose it and I said if just one of them could carry tan, carry blue, carry cream and one copy of Pied I would be ecstatic. And when Mr Carters DNA results came back, they read exactly that.
And that Ladies and Gentlemen was the journey to the day that Australia welcomed its first visual rojo chocolate French bulldog. Who is named Littlegremlins Mr Carter 🤎🤎🤎

A Sneak Peak at the beginning of Shortcakes second journey at becoming a mother, people who know me know I’m super superstitious about announcing babies until they have reached 6 weeks and deemed healthy and in the safer zone. So here we are 6 weeks ago.

The road hasn’t been easy, but we’ve done it. We’ve achieved everything we could have ever dreamt of. Our program is complete and we couldn’t have done it without all the support from our babies forever homes, the breeders who have helped us, given us advice and taught us some tough lessons along the way. The vets and repo specialists that have done their best to help us achieve our breeding goals we literally couldn’t have done any of this without you, so Thank you to everyone who has helped shape Little Gremlins into the Family we all are today

"Heads Up Pet Parents if You're Feeding Your Pets Store-bought Jerky Treats!!⚠️
( )
A new veterinary study published in the journal of Tierärztliche Praxis found that dogs are still developing a kidney disorder called Fanconi-like syndrome when fed pet jerky treats.
Fanconi is a disorder of kidney function that results in excess excretion of glucose, electrolytes and amino acids in urine. Signs of the illness included decreased appetite, lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, polydipsia and polyuria.
This new study isn't actually new news to veterinarians, in 2007, veterinarians became aware of Fanconi-like signs in multiple other dog breeds without a recognized genetic predisposition, and alerted the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, prompting an investigation. The chief suspect then was found to be commercial jerky treats.
As of today, the FDA has received approximately 5,200 complaints of illnesses associated with consumption of chicken🍗, duck🦆, or sweet potato🍠 jerky treats. The reports involve more than 6,200 dogs, 26 cats, three people, and include more than 1,140 canine deaths." - Rodney Habib
If you want to learn more about potentially dangerous pet treats, and/or ingredients you should look out for when purchasing pet food (as well as all the DIY real food snacks your dogs will love), our new book called The Forever Dog is packed with surprising new science that will help your dog live healthier, happier, and longer. The book is set to hit store shelves soon! You can reserve your copy here: https://foreverdog.com/dog-longevity-health-and-nutrition-book/

It all began with a little dude named Hugo. He was an only fur child who wanted for nothing and lived on the beach front in a place named Scarborough in Western Australia....
We did a bit of traveling and of course Hugo came with us, we visited Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and even New Zealand, any further abroad though Hugo would have faced quarantine. We visited Melbourne and fell in love, Hugo loved the social cafes, bars and restaurants surrounded by beautiful bays down on the Peninsula, so we all decided to settle here in Melbourne, not long after Hugo became a big brother to a little blue Frenchie named Tiffany. From here the obsession grew..... and so did our family, it grew so fast and the council laws in Victoria changed, so Hugo found himself looking to buy land so he could keep his family together.
Hugo found the most beautiful farm to call his home in the amazing Mitchell Shire just north of Melbourne CBD. This was the perfect place to build his family home. Hugo added some stunning highland cows and local kangaroos to keep the grass short, some silky Chickens to give him eggs and make him strong, A couple of guard dogs to protect his family, a pig to clean up after him and his children, and lastly a wombat named Meigel who sits on the edge of the dam and well does nothing.
Hugo named his farm Gremlin Manor, and this is where all our Little Gremlins take their first steps in life. We are ethical, registered breeders who believe that every animal has a special place in the family. The welfare of our gremlins is our first priority so only pet homes that fit our selection criteria will be accepted to adopt one of our gremlins.
Our programs are carefully designed with health as the main priority, followed by structure based off the breed standards. Our passion for the French Bulldog is based around the testable chocolate gene, we just adore chocolate and Isabella frenchies and strive to produce perfect examples of the breed wrapped in colour. We love all French bulldogs with the red Urajiro holding a very special place in our heart. Our goal is to produce frenchies that actually look like French bulldogs that we can stand by and be proud of. Our American Bully Program is driven with the goal of producing Bullys with correct Structure and litter consistency followed by the ambition to produce lilac an chocolates with tan points and sound temperaments.
We are firm believers that puppies need to be brought up in an environment where they are loved, socialised, taught puppy culture that is an asset to their development. Stimulated with lots of different toys and given a balanced varying diet directed at gut health so the puppies live a long and happy life with a strong immune system.
This is only the beginning for us at Gremlin Manor so follow us and watch us grow
