🦄 Rochester Pony Club and Open Combined Training 🦄

Last Sunday seen us do a little something different and take both star ponies to Rochy CT.
A nice close to home event, in which seen Polly and Larry shine like stars they are.

💕 Winfield Pollyanna 💕
- 1st place on 87.69% for dressage and a clean and no penalties for showjumping. Absolutely loved her first outing back!

💙Amberoona Larrikin 💙
- 3rd place on 80% for his dressage test and with a clean and no penalties for his showjumping also, again another lover of the jumps.

This is a bit of a special show but sad, as Polly and I dedicate this win to our late nan who was a Rochy local a friend of the Pony Club and also nan loved Polly and coming to watch us at any chance she could get. The lapel I wear is to carry nan with me every ride at a competition I do.. we love and miss you nan, this one is for you 💔🩷🌸

And we are back! Over the weekend seen us take Larry to our club run HRCAV Dressage Jackpot weekend for some top results in some super company..

- 4.2 - 66% 10th
- 4.3 - 68.13% 2nd

Sunday
4.2 - 69.4% 11th
4.4 - 71.2% 6th

Once again Larry was the only Shetland out there taking on the big guys and showing that Shetlands. An do it too. With over 20 rider and horse combinations it shows Shetlands can do it too, they might be little but they have big hearts and think they are big kids too 🥈💕

Also carrying our late nan with us also though my lapel pin ⭐️

🐴 Shetland Pony Enthusiasts Show 2024🐴

What an absolute amazing start back into showing post baby and moving farms! Yesterday we took 2 of our home bred Shetlands to the Shetland Pony Enthusiasts tri - series show at elmore on Sunday for the following results..

Redlan Clarabel 🦄
- 3rd led Shetland pony mare 9.2hh ne 10.2hh (this was a huge effort for the tiniest member of the team going against the big kids when she is only just hitting the 9hh mark, Clarabel had to compete in this section due to them not running the over 8.2hh ne 9.2hh)
- 1st any other colour Shetland.

Redlan Bandit 🐴
- 2nd led junior Shetland gelding.
- 3rd black/brown coloured.

So so proud of Bandit in which this was his first ever outing showing that he really is a good boy giving his workouts 100% each time he put his hoof into the arena!

HRCAV 40th Anniversary Show 2022

Hosted by Elmore EC. Thank you for hosting such a super event and what a turn out!
We took Winfield Pollyanna, new to level 3 and only our second go at this level in the show ring Polly worked her but off giving foot perfect workouts each time we hit the sand 🥰 taking on the big guys once again to be the only Shetland we often look like little ants lol, but don’t tell Polly she is small coz when we get out there she thinks she is just as big as they are… she is by far the best pony ever (call me bias) lol

A massive day to achieve:
- 2nd ridden Mount
- 4th Rider
- 2nd most suitable Nav Ride
- 2nd best educated level 3

These results where achieved in excellent very talent company of almost 20 horses and rider combinations which was an achievement to be called into the line up let alone the placings we received, not too shabby for a Shetland pony who loves what she does 🙌🏼🥰 absolutely blessed to have her in our stables!! 💕

🌳 Rochester Pony Club Combined Training 🌳

What a way to end the month of May… We took mother and son duo for some dressage and jumping which they both loved a little too much at times lol but so proud of their efforts both clear rounds of jumping 🙌🏼

🥈 2nd place, Polly was amazing despite a couple excited moments 🤣 she is a legend and jumped every jump with huge clearance lol

🥇 1st place, Larry is always full of surprises I never though much hope for jumping until yesterday when he showed just how much he actually enjoyed it, clearing everything jump to make sure to coloured poles didn’t grab his little legs lol.
