A direct daughter of the legendary De Niro, out of a Weltmeyer mare- two of the greatest stallions of all time in one pedigree!

Desi is a beautiful upstanding mare with a wonderful nature. Her foals are nothing short of exceptional in type, movement and temperament, with her oldest foal taking out QLD Newcomer Dressage Horse of the year in 2023, and her most recent foal taking out Best Oldenberger foal in Australia 2024. She has been an extremely reliable breeder for us with frozen semen, both as an ET donor mare and carrying her own foals. She is a wonderful mother, has had no issues foaling, no health issues, sound, easy to handle/float/ good in crush etc. Even though she is a big mare, she is very gentle and can be handled by a small lady, being only 5 foot myself!

Desi was broken in and had a couple of months professional training and could be put back under saddle if one wished, however she has not been in work for several years as we decided to prioritise her use as a broodmare since her foals were that darn good!!!

These trips to Sydney CDI with Danielle Keogh Dressage are always fun! Weather is a tad colder but nothing a warm jacket won't fix!

Here he is! The main sire FIDERTANZ, currently ranked 13th in the prestigious WBFSH ranking of the world's best dressage stallions.

More than 70 of his sons have been licensed, including the World Championship team bronze medal winner and World Cup runner-up Franziskus FRH with Ingrid Klimke/GER.

From 2013, he celebrated victories and placings up to international Grand Prix level under António Do Vale/POR, in 2021 he was named Hanoverian Stallion of the Year, in 2022 he took seventh place in the WBFSH Dressage Sire Ranking and 24th place in the Eventing Sires.

Our stunning Sir Donnerhall I/ Furstenball filly, Willowburn Sentimental, was assessed for her Oldenburg registration this week and achieved a super score of 83.5% (Elite). Classifier Jens Wehrmann was very complimentary of this filly, stating she possesses all the qualities to make a top level sport horse. He was particularly impressed with her elastic movement and incredible freedom through the shoulder.

Despite thinking going onto the arena was just one big excuse to party, Willowburn Glamouroso (Glamourdale/ De Niro) scored a huge 84.5% in his Oldenberg assessment to become the highest scoring c**t in QLD on the 2024 ACE tour. Many thanks to the ACE committee and classifier Jens Wehrmann

Our super talented young jump bunny, Willowburn Ghost (Grey Top/ Lord Sinclair) has been sold to a wonderful eventing home- massive congratulations to his new owner who has given herself a pretty darn special Christmas present! We are so excited to follow your journey together!

Top price at last night’s PSI Auction went to Dantino, selling for €1,200,000. This is of great interest to us, as he is out of a Furstenball/ Sir Donnerhall mare, and we have a very special filly- Willowburn Sentimental- from this season carrying the same cross in reverse-Sir Donnerhall/ Furstenball. First Major, another horse in the auction selling for €400,000, carries the same cross.

With great reluctance, we are offering our filly to the market. With such dream genetics, it is a difficult decision, however our future plans dictate that it will be impractical for us to retain any of our fillies for the next few years- thus giving other Australian breeders the chance to secure some world class genetics for their breeding program!! Or of course, competition riders the opportunity to acquire a youngster that holds her own against anything that can be obtained in Europe.

On the motherline, Sentimental descends from the outstanding mare family of SPS Lovely, which has produced numerous licensed stallions (including Wolkentanz I & II), FEI horses and top selling auction foals.

Sentimental is expected to mature at 17hh+.
