This article is incorrect. We will definitely still be standing Catch The Fire for the upcoming 2024/2025 breeding season.

Wingate Farm's Jack Stockton has made another splash for his New South Wales based stud with the announcement of another exciting prospect with regal bloodlines.

Joining the colonial duo of Tintin In America, Be Happy Mach and Father Nuno (Somebeachsomewhere), a full brother to the champion Captaintreacherous.

The son of Somebeachsomewhere was a $360,000 yearling sales purchase at Harrisburg in 2018 and immediately set about following in the giant hoofprints of his older bro by winning a $61,000 Pennsylvania Sires Stakes event in juvenile debut, winning at The Meadows in a time of 1:52.4.

The Thomas Cancelliere trained c**t battled valiantly against the likes of Papi Rob Hanover and Cattlewash for much of his two and three-year-old campaigns, and earned his biggest payday splitting the pair coming from last at the half mile to finish second in the $401,000 Governors Cup.

Father Nuno retired halfway through last season at the age of six having taken his lifetime mark of 1:50.1 with 15 career victories and $352,000 in stakes banked.

Get ready folks!
We've got a super night of racing coming up at Menangle tonight in readiness for next week's $1 million Garrards Miracle Mile.
And if you're wondering, our very own A Rocknroll Dance is hoping some of his star sons came qualify for the Miracle Mile.
In the Gr.1 $200,000 Chariots Of Fire, Rocknroll Hammer will step out but the barrier draw makes it tough (Race 7 No.12).
In the $100,000 Allied Express Sprint, both Curly James and Kanena Provlima are hoping to qualify (Race 6 No.3 & 5).
And for those wondering, last night, the $25,000 Ararat Pacing Cup was taken out by Dance Away for tr/dr Amy Day.
Just another Cup winner for A Rocknroll Dance!

Best of luck to all of those competing tonight.
