The Stratum Star gelding was having his fifth career start and coming off a second at Taree on September 2.

Ash Morgan was the winning rider.

Great to see Jeff Englebrecht in the winner's circle today with Lady Samuri at Manning Valley Race Club and the Winning Post Function Centre.

The Real Impact mare brought up her debut win over 1600m at start seven, with Grant Buckley in the saddle.

It was almost a race to race double for the stable, with Kite Flight narrowly beaten in the 1300m Maiden.

The Iron Maiden has retired of to Widden Stud to meet up with Stratum Star (picture below). She had 126 starts 12 wins, 15 seconds, 14 thirds for prizemoney of $338,823. Her first start was Muswellbrook 5/8/12 and last run was 8 years later at Newcastle on 23/5/20. Pictures of her and her favourite jockey Grant buckley.

Great to see popular Wyong Race Club trainer Jeff Englebrecht nab the $75,000 Mudgee Race Club Inc Cup yesterday with Hammond Lane.

RIdden by Grant Buckley, the eight-year-old beat the Jarrod Austin trained Hirokin, with Life O'Brien, trained by Peter Bloomfield, third.

The Peter Clare trained Dubai Harbour won the $50,000 Craigmoor Country Magic with apprentice Ange Cooper in the saddle, while Aaron Bullock continued his winning form with a double. 🏇🏇
