Furever home needed! Several months ago we found this little lady within the Sheraton Mall carpark and the Barbados RSPCA was able to take her in after she was checked by the kind folks at Dr Storey’s. We can’t believe that she’s still hanging out at the RSPCA (bless them because she looks GREAT!). A loving character who is highly animated and can provide live entertainment and emit giggles from anyone she encounters - pls consider providing her with the home she deserves!

These are our current foster babies - both girls - sisters- both abandoned. If anyone is considering a four legged friend, please keep these in mind. Our wish is that they go from us to a furever home - not knocking shelter life at all - but we know it would be an adjustment for them. If not adopted directly from us, they will be hanging out at Ark Animal Welfare Society of Barbados. Message if you’d like a meeting! And as always - adopt, don’t shop. 🐾❤️🐾 Please share! ~ iPups

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we say farewell to one of our top supporters, VEOMA ALI. Dr Veoma Ali was a well known and well loved broadcaster and communicator with a heart of gold when it came to animals and kids. She took personal interest in iPups and our teenage founder, providing random ideas and sharing bursts of inspiration. She will forever be remembered. In photo, she and her furever friend was at our inaugural Pupaween. RIP and soar with the angels, you beautiful soul.

For those of you who insist on keeping your pets outdoors, please ensure adequate shelter is provided and is not in danger of flooding.

There is going to be the usual thunder and lightning. For those who pets are terrified of such, please ensure ever precaution is made to keep pet in a very safe and escape free area. (You pet picks up your cues. Stay and act calm. Play a game to distract. Turn up the radio or Tv to help drown noise)

Your dog must wear a collar and tagged with up-to-date identification information. Your pet’s ID tag should contain your name, your pet’s name, telephone number and any urgent medical needs.

: Our lil foster pup, Sushi, is stable and ready to move on to her furever home. She’s about 7 weeks old and a truly tiny thing, though perfectly healthy. She’s super duper smart - communicates her needs, and is mastering potty training (we’re so proud of her!). She’s now on solids and has a lil routine going, including sleeping through the night. She’s got some pleasant s***k - enjoys her toys, snuggles, tummy rubs, the outdoors and car rides. She’s confident around our other dogs and hasn’t been bothered with the cat. This cutie is destined to be an indoor dog - and would be a great addition to YOUR home 🙂 kids or other animals to play with, would be a plus - she loves the attention! Current status - nibbles, licks and kisses (watch your toes and ears)! Quite the companion. We’ll miss her but keeping her will defeat the purpose of fostering; other dogs need help too. Interested? Our shelter dog of the week! Meet Princess. This regal girl is in need of a fur-ever home.

Princess is a small 14 month old female who recently came in with her ½ brother Snow.
A very affectionate, gentle and also a very alert dog. Used to the company of other dogs and children.
It would be great if she and Snow would be adopted together, just mentioning this.

So our 13 year old founder is giving of time at a vet clinic this week. Day 1 yesterday and she fed some kittens breakfast then lunch with a syringe; witnessed a dog being put down; helped with a blood transfusion to a pup in need; observed a spaying and a tumor removal!! Quite the hands-on experience. At the end of the day, she declared that she’s not sure she can be a vet - but then got into every detail!! We’ll share her chronicles as the career exploring continues ...
