As our beloved Botswana sizzles in a relentless heat wave, it's crucial to be vigilant and ensure the well-being of our furry companions. High temperatures, ranging from 36 to 41 can pose serious threats to their health. Here are some essential tips to protect your pets:

1. 🌊 Hydration is Vital:
Ensure your pets have access to fresh water at all times. Dehydration is a real risk, especially in soaring temperatures. Regularly check and refill their water bowls.

2. 🌴 Create Shaded Retreats:
Set up shaded areas in your living space or backyard where your pets can escape the blazing sun.

3. ⏰ Choose Cooler Exercise Times:
Opt for walks and playtime during the cooler parts of the day, such as early mornings or late evenings. Hot surfaces like asphalt can burn sensitive paw pads.
