Meet Jacqui Brown our main judge for our March trial:

Hello ! I am Jacqui Brown, a lifelong resident of Nova Scotia where I have been playing the sport of agility for 25 years with my Australian Shepherds. I have had 3 Agility Trial Champions and my youngest dog is getting close to hers.

My current Aussies are Pie and Bean, sisters from 2 different litters from the New Orleans area, they are from working lines and are endless joy in my life. They both trial at the Masters level. I have been a competitor for many years , an instructor, trial host and a judge since 2016. We host AAC trials and in addition to standard formats we offer a couple of specialty trials each year – our EuroCan trial hosts the courses of an International judge; we have hosted courses from Petr Pupik, Stefanie Semkat, Tamas Traj and Marko Makela, and we also host an annual Snookerpalooza, which is a lot of fun !

I love judging and continually learning about course design which is always evolving. It is my hope that my courses are fun and safe with good flow, appropriate for the level and allow for a variety of handling choices.

I am looking forward to a fun weekend of agility at Fast Pass ! Have fun with your dog and best of luck !

📢 PSA: AAC Recorded Height!

As we get ready for our first AAC trial of 2025 just wanted to post a reminder about your height measurements!

1) If your dog is UNDER 2 years old and this is your FIRST trial - you will be measured at the trial and info sent to AAC but your official card will NOT be signed or filled out. You will then receive a "Temporary" card that you can use until your dog turns 2.

2) If you're dog is UNDER 2 and you already have a "Temporary" height card, you do not need to be measured.

3) If your dog is OVER 2 and you have a "Temp" height card, it's now time for your official measurements.

4) If your dog is OVER 2 and you do not have a completed height card (i.e. circled jump height). You'll need to be measured.

If you believe your dog has a final measurement but it is NOT listed on this website, you can send a picture of the completed card (both sides) to the AAC (we can also do this for you if you bring your card to the trial).

🏁UPDATE on the FastPass Agility AAC March Madness trial 🏁

The trial is SOLD OUT before we open the event to the general public due to demand from our current Swift Dog Sports students and out of town entries. One of the benefits of being one of our students is that they get 1st access to the events we host.

🏆 FastPass Agility AAC March Madness trial 🏆

Our trial will open to the general public on February 1, 2025 @ 7:00am. Entries are currently open to current Swift Dog Sports students in the meantime.

⭐️Online Entry: We're trying something NEW and using our brand new FastPass online entry form which will be posted on our page at that time. A schedule of events can be found in the comment section below.

Order deadline is Dec 29th, 2024.

The tags are stainless steel and rubber over the collar ID and are available in 5 different colours to choose from; white, black, red, blue and pink.

Tags can accommodate up to 4 lines of text of approximately 26 characters and spaces.

The rubber is STRETCHY and will accommodate an additional width/size of the collar. If in doubt, order up in size.

Paula Collins Dog Lines Workshop!

ONE SPOT LEFT!

Lines, what's the big deal? Have you run a course and afterwards thought, hmm, my dog didn't see that line very well? Or your dog missed an obstacle you thought they would see. Or they had to make a big correction to their line to make it to the next obstacle. This workshop is all about teaching the handler how to look at courses and see the true line the dog is likely to take and making the best handling decisions to negotiate them. Join Paula Collins, an agility judge and competitor, in learning how to see these and what to do about it for your dog. The seminar will include a classroom portion and a hands on portion for optimal learning for the handler.
