Today is National Cat Day!!

Obviously here at Abby Cat Daddy everyday is cat day for us, as we LOVE cats and kittens of all temperments.

Help us advocate and care for not only our local community cats but community member's cats by sending a letter to the FVRD Council [email protected] letting them know the absolute struggle it has been this year for not only us but so many other local cat and dog rescues due to inadequate support for caregivers and the lack of responsible pet ownerrship/ companion animal bylaws.

Meet our delightful foster duo, Catan and Taboo! These two are a bonded pair, and we would love to see them find their forever home together. They have been in care for 142 days and we would love to see them "graduate" and move into their furrever homes!
They are 6 months old as of today!

"While this page is non-partisan we do deal with the government in our efforts to make change happen.
This is the first time a major political party in BC has ever considered companion animals as part of their election campaign.
Whether or not they keep their promise (if elected) waits to be seen, but this is one of the many pieces of legislation that this coalition has been asking for (we would prefer to see it extend further than just apartments but this is a step in the right direction).
Please get out and vote this month, whether you chose the NDP, Conservatives, the Green Party or a local Independent to be your MLA- get out and participate in our democracy and vote to make a difference in the lives of our companion animals and our fellow citizens.

Today marks the OFFICIAL launch of our coupon book fundraiser!
Our goal is to raise $800 with this fundraiser, each book costs $15 with $7.5 of each book going towards our fundraiser total!

We've sold 5 books so far so we're at $37.50 raised!

We're raising money not only to care for the cats in our care and our TNR program, but we are also raising funds to put aside as we plan to eventually open up an official Abby Cat Daddy adoption facility.
These kinds of projects take time, money and a ton of help from our volunteers and our community.

If you'd like a book please reach out, some volunteers are also selling books directly for us as well.
Currently pick up locations outside of the volunteers is at in Chilliwack but we hope to have a pick-up in Abbotsford by the end of this week.
