Hey, fur-fam! Bathing isn’t just about freshening up your pup – it’s crucial for their health too! At Michaela’s Dog Grooming, I make sure every dog leaves looking, feeling, and smelling their absolute best. 🥰
Why Bathing is a Must:
🌟 Shiny Coats & Healthy Skin – Regular baths remove dirt and oils, keeping their skin and coat in top condition.
🐾 Fresh Smells – Say goodbye to that “doggy odor” – perfect for cuddle time!
🍃 Allergy Control – Regular baths help rinse away allergens like dust and pollen, keeping your pup more comfortable.
🐶 Deshedding - The bath is the best place to get rid of dead hair and their shedding undercoat.
My Grooming Process:
💧 Pre-Bath Brushing & Shaving – First, I brush out any tangles and loose fur to prep them for the bath. If a dog is getting a haircut, I will prep them prior to the bath.
🫧 Warm & Relaxing Bath – I use gentle, high-quality products that are customized to your dog’s coat and skin needs. Their entire body gets a good scrub!
🌬️ Gentle Drying & Brushing – I use an air-force dryer to remove any loose fur off their body and I add a gentle brush-out, leaving them extra fluffy! If a dog is uncomfortable with the air-force dryer, I either cage or hand dry them.
💅 Finishing Touches – A haircut (if required), nail trims, ear cleaning, and a little spritz of dog-friendly fragrance if they’re up for it! And of course a bandana or bow for an extra pep in their step.

📢 Hey everyone! I’m Michaela: the heart and hands behind Michaela's Dog Grooming! 🐾 I’m a dog groomer in Abbotsford, BC, working solo out of MrPets Abbotsford, and there’s nothing I love more than creating a calm, happy space for your fur babies. 🐶✨
I started my journey with dogs back in October 2021 with my own dog walking business and it quickly grew into a passion for grooming. I went back to school to get certified in 2023 from Western Dog Grooming School and have been lucky enough to work with all kinds of pups since then. Now I’m all about giving each dog a safe, gentle, and personalized grooming experience. (Kisses and hugs are free of charge!)
When I’m not grooming, you’ll probably find me with my three dogs (a mini Goldendoodle, a mini Aussiedoodle, and a Keeshond), listening to true crime or history podcasts, or relaxing with my boyfriend. 🧡 I’m also a bit of a horror buff, so could say that I love the spooky stuff! 👻

Meet Nori, a rescue English Bulldog with a story that breaks my heart 💔. She spent most of her life confined in a box, forced to have litter after litter. Her first time ever touching grass was at age 5 when her amazing rescue dad brought her home. After years of neglect, she now knows what it feels like to be spoiled with love and care. 💖
When Nori came to me for grooming, I won’t lie, I was a little nervous 😬—English Bulldogs can be CRANKY and they’ve got a strong bite! But to my surprise, Nori was an absolute angel. I made sure to be extra gentle and calm with her, but she took it all in with silent resignation. 🤣 Honestly, I think she’s just so grateful to finally be treated with love and kindness. (I’m getting choked up just writing this. 🥺)
Miss Nori, thank you for trusting me. You deserve all the spa days, treats, frolics in the grass, and snuggles. Please come back soon even if it’s just for a visit! ❤️🥰
