We are a small online based freshwater shrimp and supply store. Located in Abbotsford BC, we cater to the Vancouver and surrounding areas of the Lower Mainland. We strive to provide as many locally sourced products as possible.
About Valley Aquatics
My name is Matthew Lister, Owner of Valley Aquatics. I began my journey into freshwater shrimp keeping years ago when I met my wife. She introduced me into the aquatic hobby with a Betta fish she owned. I started researching freshwater fishkeeping as a hobby and became hooked. Originally I had multiple planted tanks, each containing some kind of shrimp such as red cherry shrimp, amano shrimp, and ghost shrimp. Eventually becoming more interested in the Caridina species which has now brought me to where I am today. Keeping and breeding multiple caridina shrimp, as well as collecting local botanicals to aid in the water chemistry and overall health of my shrimp.
