MEET TT!
Many of you have had the pleasure of seeing our beautiful green eyed gal in clinic-and now she is looking for a forever home!
Miss TT has been a patient of FVAH for 6 years now and sadly her owner has gone into long term care. She is 14, and currently on a regime of 7 daily medications, so we are looking for a very special someone to open their heart and home.
Please email the clinic at [email protected] for more information, or stop by for a visit!
Our apologies if we missed you late this past Sunday afternoon-we had an emergency special delivery! Miss Stella is a new mom, with 7 healthy American Cocker Spaniel pups โฅ
With cryo therapy your pets small lesions are treated with a small jet of nitrous oxide which destroys the cell membrane and the lesion will fall off at home in a few weeks! No stress, no surgery, no down time!
Ear mites from one of our lovely feline patients under the microscope! These guys are barely visible to the naked eye, but highly transmissible between your pets in the home. Signs of ear mites are head shaking, scratching the ears, and dark waxy debris in the ear canal. Parasite protection can help keep your pets mite free, call us at 604-854-2313 and we can discuss your best option!
Keeping Our Furry Friends Safe! It's National Pet ID Week, and here are FVAH we are committed to ensuring every pet is protected. Internal ID is ideal as collars and tags can break if a pet is lost, contact info is easily updated, and all shelters and veterinary hospitals can scan for microchips. We are raising money for Winston's Wishes with a $25 microchip fundraiser through the end of April, call us to book 604-854-2313!
MIDNIGHT MOMENT! To know him is to love him, and to love him is to know...well, he loves food!!! He has allergies which result in pretty significant ear infections, but this cat throws caution to the wind and devours any human food left unattended. You may also find him on occasion upside down like a chonky trash-panda in the nearest garbage bin, scavenging whatever morsels were left behind. Here we observe Sir Amazing Midnight in fine form, on a post-surgical high and hungry from being fasted, it gave us all a good chuckle.....enjoy! ๐
MIDNIGHT MOMENT!
As you all know, Sir Amazing Midnight, our favorite clinic cat and everyone's baby here at FVAH, was diagnosed with cancer back in the fall. He had surgery to remove an adenocarcinoma in his ear in November, but we knew given the location that clear margins would be difficult. Since then, his cancer has unfortunately metastasized and he is not a candidate for chemotherapy. We will continue to focus on a good quality of life, which he has currently, and giving him all the hugs and kisses he can stand. If you see him next time you are in clinic make sure to lavish some love on him โค and stay tuned for many more Midnight Moments!
