when I say raising rabbits is hard, I really mean it.

I lost my rex buck today.
I've had splatter for a few years, down right my best friend and the best rabbit I've ever owned, not to mention how beautiful he was.
I am in shock, I am so saddened by this loss.
I thought I'd have him so much longer.
I just sat there holding him for an hour not even taking in that he wasn't here anymore.

I looked up in the sky, i heard thunder, and saw this huge streak of lightning, (it was sunny minutes prior) and couldn't help but think, maybe it's you telling me where you are and that your ok.

I am going to miss you so much 😭

4 babies! this was a broken x pointed chin.

Katana getting some training in today.
Preparing her to watch the livestock.
She is a super smart dog, high intelligence, good sense, and she is very hyper , as she is 12 weeks old lol.

Going to be starting off the new year, with a new breed I'll be focusing on a bit.

⭐ Flemish Giant ⭐

I've really been thinking alot lately with what i want to do with my rabbitry, and giants have always been a favorite breed of mine, I have had a few in the past but never any nice breeders. Iris and Phoebe came to me yesterday from AB! These gorgeous girls are huge ! I have yet to weight them still.

I'm super excited to see where this takes me.

Also picked up a new English angora doe yesterday, she is looking a bit rough , so will post photos when she's got a clean shave..❤

I have some exciting news.
I will be continuing to breed and don't need to downsize as much as I thought !
I figured out my situation and couldn't be happier.
I have a surprise coming on Saturday, I'm so excited 🥰

I haven't posted in awhile, trying to figure some things out.
I'm not sure what's happening with my living situation, but I will continue to have a few rabbits for now, as I don't think I could ever give this up.

I have been caring for a baby who's mother I rescued from the side of the road, he has neurological problems, but I was determined to try and help him, as he has quite grown on me.
OB is a lionhead x, and cannot walk straight, and he spreads out like a starfish,
he is such a bundle of joy and determined with everything he does !
thought I would share some progress!
his front legs are much straighter then they used to be and he can somewhat use them to get around, his back legs have been a challenge, but we are trying everyday with him. he's only 4 months old, and was told he will not grow anymore.
he is totally free roam in his area, he cannot be on hardwood floors , as it hurts his legs.
he is surrounded my blankets and has to be given water, he usually can eat his food but sometimes needs help, he is something that has gotten me through the last few months ! so appreciation post for my baby!

It has been a crazy past month.
I apologize for not being as active.
My mental heath seems to have taken a turn and I have to remember to take care of myself too.. ❤
Little update , everyone is doing fantastic!
unfortunately haven't had any new litters as I've been taking a bit of a break and extra spoling my animals lol.
I'm hoping to get a few breedings done sometime before October.
I've also been focusing on my birds aswell, we've had some pretty cute ducklings and chicks hatch the past few weeks ❤
Will try to be on here more, I just think me and my animals all needed a break❤

this is Bellamy!
anyone who knows me, knows who bandit was, this is the only bandit baby living! he is almost 6 years old. what a blessing that we get to babysit him for a bit ❤

With a heavy heart I'm writing this, my very first angora doe winter, passed away today. She was an old girl, ❤
I will never forget her, she passed away peacefully this morning. There's not enough time in the world we get to spend with our animals, this just isn't fair.
Anyone who knows me know how special winter was to me. I'm really going to miss you babygirl😭
