This is going to be exciting. I am pleased to announce, alongside with Irvineside Cattle Company, our offering for the National Charolais Sale @ The Royal Winter Fair in November. Last fall we purchased some SEXED FEMALE trust x lily embryos and we decided to implant those embryos into some solid two year old purebred females, this is the result. This powerhouse mating, carried by a female who is really solid in her own right, gives you a true 2 in 1 package with a plethora of different options for the future.
The pregnancy is carried by a 2 year old WR Wrangler W601 x Annuroc Angela 9F (SVY Grizzly PLD 521C) female.

They say April showers bring May flowers and this sweet little May baby is blossoming into a beautiful female 🌷🌷🌷. Usually may calves don’t get much attention around here being off aged but this one is Structurally sound, good lined , and the most docile one in the group. She’s making her case to stick around I guess 🤷🏼

Thick thighs, pretty eyes 😍. This absolute powerhouse of a January heifer is MASSIVE in her hip, top and rib, all while having a perfect foot and stride. This sweet skulled easy doing money maker is already maternal in her design and if she’s anything like her mother, she’ll be impeccable in her udder design too.

A January born Firewater son out of a Baker Farms cow who goes back to the great Wyoming Wind bull a little deeper in her pedigree. He’s sound on the move, big nutted, massive hipped, and is made longer than your crazy aunts New Years resolution list. Excited to watch this guy grow and develop.

Winter seems to have flown by and now breeding season is right around the corner! I acquired some frozen embryo packages over winter and I can't wait to get them implanted this spring. I will be implanting recips with some embryos such as :

Well the 2018 show season for us has come to an end. It was a great year for S.S.S and we could not have done it without the help of everyone. Last week was our last show of the year @ The Toronto Royal Winter Fair. S.S.S French Maid 3F won the junior calf division then went on to be named Reserve Champion Heifer Calf! S.S.S Echo 5E won her junior yearling class and S.S.S Eradicate was 3rd in class. We also placed 2nd in the progeny of dam class with S.S.S French Maid 3F and S.S.S Echo 5E. Another great run at RAWF. Thank you to the best crew on earth and the best clients for believing in our genetics throughout the year!

We are back from New York State Fair and what a great time it was ! The following are the results of how the cattle placed.

S.S.S French Maid 3F (owned by Eric Doran) placed first in her class and went on to be champion junior calf

Bridor Fortune 26F placed first in her class and went on to be reserve champion junior calf.

French maid and fortune also continued their day winning best pair of Charolais calves class

Thank you to Eric Doran for the recent purchase of French Maid from me and to Lisa Compton for purchasing Fortune from Scott, Evan and I.

S.S.S Eradicate 3E was junior bull champion and went on to be grand champion Charolais bull !

Congratulations to Lisa Compton/Jon Roorda/ Compton farms on winning Grand Champion Female with S.S.S Echo 5E . Compton's purchased her from her from me last year at the Toronto Winter Fair and it is great to watch their success with her as she was also supreme champion female at Wayne county fair a few weeks back.

Thank you to the crew for helping me get this job done ! It would not have happened without you and you guys are amazing!

A big congratulations to Compton Farms / Lisa Compton and Jon Roorda on having Supreme Breeding Female with S.S.S Echo @ Wayne County Fair. Last year Comptons purchased Echo out of the stall at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, I knew that she would be in good hands at Compton Farms and I am extremely happy with the success they have had with this heifer. Echo is now qualified for the New York Beef Producers Supreme Show @ New York State Fair after winning supreme at Wayne County and I must say I absolutely love seeing customers have great success with my genetics and I appreciate the hard work they put in. Congrats again Comptons and I look forward to seeing you all next weekend at NYSF!
