Figured it's about time I introduced myself, my name is Alex!
Here are 5 things that will help you get to know me:
1. I'm a proud fur mama to 2 dogs at the moment. A 9 year old Havanese x Poodle x Bichon rescue, and a 2 year old Standard Poodle. They both love helping me out with pictures whenever needed.
2. What inspired me to specialize in pet photography was my absolute love for animals ever since I was born! I've always wanted to work with them and have had the amazing opportunity to explore lots of various fields in the pet industry ultimately landing on pet photography.
3. My favorite part of working with animals during a photoshoot is getting to know the unique personality and quirks each pet has.
4. I love having the opportunity to take photos of new animals and breeds. So far I've taken pictures of dogs, cats, bunnies, horses, ferrets, geckos, snakes, sheep, goats, flamingos, red pandas, chacoan peccary, ducks, & a donkey. A few animals I still want to take pictures of are: birds, hedgehogs, rodents, rare breed dogs + cats, etc.
5. One piece of advice I'd give my younger self:
Don't be afraid to be yourself and go after what you want.
