Exciting News & A New Chapter for Us
Our little grooming business is growing and adjusting, and we have an important update to share. After a lot of careful thought, we’ll be transitioning from being mobile in Airdrie to opening a cozy grooming salon in Crossfield — just 15 minutes away. This change reflects where our business is headed and what we need in order to keep offering the best care possible.
This change comes with a mix of emotions, but ultimately, so much excitement. Our grooming van has served us incredibly well over the years. It’s been successful beyond what we ever dreamed, and we’re endlessly grateful for the amazing pets and people it’s brought into our lives.
The mobile setup is no longer sustainable for us. With unpredictable weather, power issues, ongoing maintenance, and especially the safety concerns when working with XL dogs, we knew it was time to make a shift that allows us to keep providing the highest quality care.
One thing that will not change is the style of grooming your pets are used to. In our new space, we will continue operating in a true one-on-one environment — one pet in, one pet out — with no other dogs present during your appointment. This allows us to maintain the calm, predictable, low-stress, and reactive-dog-friendly atmosphere that so many pups rely on.
Creating a space where every dog, especially those who need extra space from other animals, can feel comfortable and secure will always be a top priority for us.
We’re also planning to offer 1–2 more flexible days each week to help accommodate different schedules. These days will be more for the dogs who are okay to potentially see other pets, although we will not be having any pets free roaming together.
As far as bookings go:
We will be reaching out to everyone who is currently prebooked over the next few weeks to chat about whether you’d like to keep, reschedule or cancel your existing appointment. By January 1st, our schedule for the new Crossfield location will be officially open for booking and we are hoping for mid January the new space to be up and running.
While we would have loved to stay in Airdrie, leasing a space as a solo-operated business just wasn’t financially possible for us. Crossfield, however, has welcomed us with open arms. It’s a beautiful nearby town with so much to offer, and we hope you’ll love visiting as much as we do.
We know this is a big adjustment — for you and for us — and we truly appreciate your understanding and support as we navigate this transition. Your trust means the world, and we hope you’ll continue to be a part of this next chapter with us.
