Today marks Diabetes Awareness Day.
Just like humans our pets can develop type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Some signs are excessive thirst, increased urination and weight loss (though appetite may increase). If you have any questions about diabetes or are concerned for your pet, please reach out to us.

Whoop whoop 🙌 Another successful blood donation done. We had 4, yes that’s right 4 dogs today, saving lives. A big shout out to Emma, Elsie, Diesel and Boston for their time today. We can’t wait until we get to do this again! If you are interested in having your dog become a hero and donate blood give us a call!

This Remembrance Day, we honour the brave men, women, and service animals who have served our country with courage and dedication. Today, we pay tribute not only to the soldiers but also to the service dogs who stood alongside them, providing comfort, protection, and companionship in times of need. We ask that at 11am you take 2 minutes to remember their sacrifices and thank all veterans and their loyal companions for their service. 🇨🇦

Trick or treat! Emphasis on the TREAT! We had some fun today with everyone that stopped by with their costumes. Also, special shout out to our new receptionist Lindsay - its her birthday today! I wonder if she gets a cake or just candy to celebrate? What would you want if it’s your birthday?

While the official Day of the Dead for pets was October 27th, we feel that our loved ones that have passed on should continue to be remembered. We are celebrating with pumpkin cookies, please stop in for a cookie and to leave us a photo for our « altar ». We will be collecting donations for our Oscar Fund in honour of our pets until November 2nd.

Happy Halloween!! This has to be one of our most favorite seasonal events! We, like ever year, cannot wait to see your pets in their Halloween costumes!! This year we have made it even easier to participate!

🐶We wanted to do something a little different this year for the Halloween season! 🐱 We will be participating in Dia De Los Mu***os to honor our past pets🐰 We invite you to come and place a photo of your past pets so that they can be remembered and their lives celebrated 🎉
In lieu of food offerings, you can make a donation to our Oscar Fund, though this is not required to celebrate with us!
