🐶 🐾 An update on the female golden in our care!
We are calling her Penny for right now, we think it suits her. 💗
As it’s been only the 3rd day of her being with us, we are still learning so much about her.
Here’s what we do know:
-she already has a kind and loving nature!
-she is doing well in her kennel, only p*es once at night, but on the p*e pad she is provided.
-she walks good on a leash, but as she gets strength back she is starting to pull, which we’re okay with for now! But will likely need work.
-she’s learning to play with toys ! Yes, she wasn’t sure about it at first..
The biggest thing that we have learned….
She’s gained 2.2 pounds !! 🎉🥳
What we don’t know yet:
-How she is around other cats and dogs.
-how she is with children.
She has come a long way but still has a long way to go. She will be going to a foster who has other pets in the home, so we will know more after the weekend!
We have to hold her for a minimum of 7 days, at this point depending on her progress, we will look at how and when we proceed with adopting her.
We wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone that shared our original post; and to people that have donated to her care while she is with us. (That part was totally unexpected, but appreciated!)
