Everyone is officially vaccinated and ready for their new adventures!

Very impressed with this litter . 30 minutes both ways to the vet an hour in the vet and a short stop to drop off a puppy and not one accident ! Everyone waited quietly and as patiently as possible for 8 weeks old .

WKC Registered Kelpies looking for herd management positions as of March 2nd !

Will come with 1st vaccines , wormed and vet checked . We also implement early neurological stimulation and early sent introduction alongside parts of puppy culture and kennel training .

Watkinson Rita - mom is tough in the alley and loves to get down and dirty . She thrives in situations where she can be aggressive and take control but does cross over lovely to accomplish moving cows in the open. Mom has a plate and 9 screws in her front leg due to a break(was kicked by a draft horse). She never misses a days work and was working cows two days before she gave birth and sheep the morning of because she just truly hates to take a day off.

Grassroots Ranger - if you have met Ranger you are instantly a fan. His friendly jug head smile along side his laid back personality wins everyone over. Dad is our go to guy to get the job done in the field. He has a knack for understanding any job and getting it done in a quick and efficient yet laid back way. Ranger works both cows and sheep but definitely has a preference for cows.

Puppies from our past litter are working on cow operations, mixed operations ( cows and sheep ) and one is getting ready to trial. 1/2 siblings by Ranger are working on sheep operations, in sport homes and helping in a wild cattle catching business on the east coast.

Everyone got “officially” stock tested today so the picking process could start ! Baths , tattoos for registration and a trip to the vet later this week and these guys will be well on their way .

What a beautiful day to get these guys out and about to explore the snow while I had my camera out.

They were officially 5 weeks old on Friday! That means we are two weeks away from stock testing and three weeks away from new homes. Everyone’s personalities are really starting to shine through. We are so excited for families who have already committed to their new furry friends !

It’s a hard job being the head of the greeting committee . This little guy put him self to bed early while everyone else was still playing and waiting to get their nails trimmed after having some visitors this afternoon.

Let the puppies out to play while I was in the barn doing chores this morning… clearly they need to be more heavily supervised. I turned around to a handful of them in trying to motivate this feeder lamb to get up from his nap 😅🙃

This morning we were sadden to hear about the loss of our new friend Jamie Harden . Although we haven’t known Jamie for a long time we definitely noticed how bright her light shines and how she positively impacts those around her!

Jamie left behind her husband and three young children . Jamie and Josh have horses consigned to Hershberger Performance Horse Sale,on March 1st 2024 in Scottsdale AZ . We encourage you to support Jamie’s family by sharing their awesome consignments with your friends and family ! The family also has a guiding business Chinchaga River Hunts as well as standing two stallions and a horse training and sale business .

Even though we haven’t know the family long we can confidently say Jamie wouldn’t want their way of life to change ! She loved horses and we loved talking to her about horses . Rest in peace Jamie. We will miss all the guidance and support you unknowingly provided us by just being you ❤️ Sending our prayers and support to Josh and the kiddos !
