A massive congratulations goes out to one of our long-time lessons students Kate, on the purchase of her very first horse! We are very happy to welcome 'Queenie' to the farm, and are so excited to watch these two in action!!

We received this very special photo of our long-time lesson student, Emma, taking riding lessons on one of our OG lesson ponies, Zarena in 2019! It just so happened that Emma also had her very first xc lesson on Miss Gidget today! These photos define the saying 'hard work pays off!'

We are so proud of everything that Miss Emma has accomplished!!

The D&A Farms crew had a fantastic first outing of the year at the Trilogy Combined Test Series ! Here are some highlights!

Alyvia and Gidget- 1st in dressage, 8th in SJ, and 1st overall in the novice!

Emma and Gidget- 3rd in dressage, 3rd in SJ, and 3rd overall in the novice!

Alexis and Boxer- 8th overall in the novice!

Jayci and Remi- 5th in dressage, 5th in SJ, and 4th overall in the Pre-entry!

Kate and Betty- 3rd in SJ, and 6th overall in the Pre-entry!

Eliza and Oliver- 3rd in dressage, 1st in SJ, and 3rd overall in the entry!

Emalee and Miles- 2nd in dressage, 1st in SJ and 2nd overall in the Pre-training!

D&A Farms had a busy weekend schooling!!

On Friday, Marvin played with some xc, at Jessica Pheonix's beautiful facility!

Saturday, we went xc schooling at the wonderful Sunnymead farm, with our younger horses, Miles and Betty!

And today, lesson students Kate and Halle had a wonderful show jump school at Endless Journey Farms!!

We had such a fantastic day at our D&A Farms Fun Show! Such a fun day learning about everything that goes into horse showing! Everybody rode beautiful dressage tests and show jumping rounds! We are so greatful to have such a dedicated and hard-working team! Looking forward to watching all of these riders crush their dreams this summer!!

What a great weekend with Boxer and Gidget at the TMU OCEA show! Not only did these super school horses jump a full hunter course, they did it all with brand new riders, as this was a catch riding University show! So proud of these two ponies!!

Up next, we have Boxer!! Boxer is a 19 year old Morgan, that has been in our program for 5 years!! Boxer has done just about any discipline in the books, but his absolute favourite is show jumping!! Boxer loves taking our advanced kids to shows, and also teaching our adult riders the ropes of riding!

Meet the Schoolies!!
First up, we have our superstar pony, Gidget! Gidget is a 20 year old, Rocky Mountain Horse cross! We have had the pleasure of having Gidget in our program for 3 years now! Gidget is such a versatile pony, from teaching our beginner lessons, to taking kids to their first shows, she is always ready to work and keep the kids safe!

The D&A crew had a fantastic Christmas party this past weekend! We had an exciting night filled with friends, fun games,delicious food and of course, ponies! We are super grateful to have such an amazing barn family!❤️🐴
