A very sad day for us
We laid to rest our beloved Bounty
To say Bounty was a one in a million dog is a huge understatement, he was so much more than just a dog, he was THE dog that made us who we are today, he was both our foundation and is our future, he made us so proud of what we do and us humbled to be part of what can be achieved though true love shared by a dog.
He also gave us a love of dog shows We had so much fun with him, no politics just him us and so many Judges who saw him as special, It was never about him being the best, it was about the time we spent together and the friendships made, he was our very own fairytale story, No matter what the outcome of the shows Bounty always went home as our best in show dog.
Bounty’s progeny and further generations of puppies are his legacy, they are out and about changing lives whether it be loyal companion’s, family pets, hunting Buddies or service dogs!
Everybody who has a Puppy related to Bounty knows they are just the best!
Our hearts are broken today, but they’re also full of love for what this amazing dog did for not just us but so many who lives were enriched in some way by him, Everybody who met Bounty loved him and he loved everyone.
Beckie and Bounty had what felt like a life time of experiences together. He’s been there guiding her through the challenges that come with being a young adult. Beckie’s children, Payton and Lexie were lucky enough to spend many hours of movie time with bounty. He’s been a huge part of their lives. One of Paytons first ring experiences was guiding the big guy around the veteran ring, he of course trotted around happily.

We could go on about all the memories and moments we shared with this amazing boy however it would be never ending. Please, if you had the pleasure of meeting Bounty, share a special moment.

It’s been a hot minute since my last show, I could not be happier with how our crew did today! Pictures to come!
Thyme “Ekho’s It’s Party Thyme” showed her little paws off and went BEST OF BREED from the open class! Then proceeded to out do herself by taking a nice GROUP 2. Congratulations to all the beautiful dogs in the ring with us, lovely sporting group.

H***h “EkhoPrides Who’s Got The H***h” was a first timer in the ring and did amazingly. He went BO. A HUGE thank you toKaylee Kucher for taking him in for us!

Lastly we had our baby puppy Ticket “Ekho’s Ticket to Ride“ this little girl rocked it in the ring getting herself best baby puppy in group! So so proud of the blueberry muffin.

A HUGE HUGE thank you to Lynne and Cassie for having the dogs bathed up and ready to rock. No feral dogs for this pregnant momma was a blessing 😂

Miss Frankie is a dream puppy and so much fun to work with. She is mid level energy, excellent off leash, great in a kennel and house. She is used to a busy environment with loud noises. She would be a perfect addition to a family with children! Frankie is from our sweet yellow girl Syren and our one in a million boy, Bounty!

Static is pure perfection. He is 18 months old and ready for service dog training or to head to his forever home. Static is stoic, calm, confident. This isn’t a dog that’s going to jump all over you or seek attention from others while working. He becomes extremely bonded to his handler. He has had a couple months of training under his belt:
✔️public exposure to various places
✔️walks on loose leash & makes eye contact with handler to check in
✔️clean and quiet in crate
✔️good off leash
✔️pees on command
✔️sit & down commands
✔️good with all other dogs, cats, livestock, children

If you are looking for an easy, young family dog with no hassle of the puppy stage or a service dog prospect, THIS is it.

Introducing BOONE BABY!

Boone is one of our up and coming males we are excited about! He is 15 months old and out of Rain x Timber. He is a big boy without sacrificing any athleticism. He is as sweet as they come 😍

Boone is on a co own and absolutely lives the best life a dog could ask for! Here is what his owner has to say about Boone:

He’s amazing and I’m so thankful to have him!! Boone is about 70lbs of love, support, and goofiness. He adores people, plays well with other dogs and his best friend is a cat LOL Boone has eyes that look into your soul. They do a very good job of asking for treats and walks, too. He loves to walk , run, fetch, and play with his pals, but he’s also happy to chill at your feet (or on your lap, whichever you will allow haha).

We are so excited about our up and coming Ekho youngsters, so we thought we would introduce you to a couple. One of our favourite females is our 1.5 year old, Billie out of Rio and Timber. Billie brings tons of athleticism with an excellent off switch. She’s the best of both worlds. She’s proven to be an excellent family dog and gets along with anything and everything she comes across. She’s a true sweetheart.

Tucker is a 1.5 year old intact male. Tucker would love an active home with a buddy to wrestle with. He is moderate energy and settles in the house. He is up for any and every adventure thrown his way. His favourite things to do are wrestle with his Labrador buddies and going for jogs with humans. He has lots of hunting potential too! ✅ basic commands: sit & down ✅ good off leash ✅ good on leash ✅ crate trained and clean ✅ good with kids ✅ good with other dogs ✅ house trained

Cedar is a once in a lifetime boy. He is 2 years old and neutered. He could go in ANY direction: dock diving/sports, scent detection, service prospect, family pet, therapy dog. ✅excellent confidence ✅clean and quiet in crate ✅perfect off switch in the house ✅LOVES kids, other dogs & cats ✅loves water and diving ✅loves fetch ✅great offleash ✅sit, down, good on leash ‼️Cedar suffers from seasonal alopecia. He typically will thin in the face, ribs and hind end. He does NOT have allergies and has had extensive testing, he simply loses hair in the colder months and grows it all back in the summer. So far in his life he is losing less each winter than the previous. This requires no special treatment of any kind and effects nothing besides cosmetics‼️

We tried out going for our WC today with the big boy, Bounty! So proud of this boy, with a week of lets get ready time he did well. Back at it tomorrow! His grandson, Whiskey (Ekhopride’s Whiskey on the rocks) was also entered. He retrieved all 4 birds in Whiskey fashion. Very proud of him and his owner, Thomas Burkell. Great job team!

We have finally chosen the little lady that is going to stay….which means this girl is looking for her new home. She is beautiful however we really can’t keep them all. Chocolate female, 5 months old, microchipped, vaccinated, and ckc registered. We also have a black female available :) Message us for more information 🐶
