Did your dog get “skunked”?

Although your first instinct is to get the dog into the bath (omg this smells SO bad!) please wait! Before trying to drown out that smell with water, make a paste of baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, Blue Dawn dish soap and a bit of toothpaste. Rub this paste into the coat and let it sit for 10 mins. THEN you can bath! The paste will break down the oils in the skunk spray and greatly reduce the odour.
