My sweet boy Wexford is pretty leash reactive. He hasn’t been around any dog friends for a long time because of this. Last week he got to meet Tess and with some careful introductions they had a blast playing and getting to know each other. So proud of this dude and the progress he’s making ❤️❤️

Looking forward to some warm weather this week after a few weeks of frigid temperatures!

A few of the pups were brave enough to go out despite the weather. I’m grateful for my wonderful friend Sarah for letting the rest of us escape the cold for a day to run around in her arena 😍.

The cutest birthday boy ❤️🎉. So glad I got to see my favorite guy on his special day! He had fun exploring, rolling in the snow, playing frisbee, tug and getting all the love and cookies. Love this special dude so much🥺

I have space immediately in my Monday and Friday morning group walks. I will be opening up space Tuesday-Thursday starting in January of 2022.

Let’s talk about muzzles!!

Muzzles are a fabulous invention and can come in handy in so many different situations. Jango is selective about his friends, being muzzle trained allows for him to go places and play with some doggie friends. Both of these things would not be possible without his muzzle. Tess doesn’t “need” a muzzle but is happy to wear one anyways!

They aren’t just for dogs who dislike other dogs! They can prevent dogs from eating things they shouldn’t, they can be used during emergency situations and or course they are great for preventing any accidents.

Muzzles do require some training and you need to pick an appropriate type for your dog. Jango does a lot of exercise in his so we had to ensure there is room for him to pant, drink and eat treats!

Puppies are so adorable but the mouthing and biting can be a real pain! I met sweet Bella last week and with some added enrichment, more sleep, and lots of bitey outlets her family is happy to report that they are no longer spending all day running away from their baby land shark ❤️🦈

Jango’s biggest struggle has always been sharing space, especially when he is tired.

In a house with 5 animals this can be pretty tough! We have a very rigorous management routine and I have been working with Jango for a long time to help him feel better about being approached when he is relaxing.

Tonight we are watching a movie and he is totally content and comfortable hanging out on the couch with me and both of our cats. So proud of this boy. ❤️

SO proud of this sweet boy. Wexford happily got his harness on and walked to the field with my this week. Of course we celebrated with some frisbee. We also got a nice chance to practice watching people and dogs from a safe distance. This boy is a superstar! 🤩

I’m a day late for Thanksgiving but I am so thankful for all of these wonderful dogs that I get to spend my days with! I’m so blessed to be surrounded by so many lovely pups and their equally lovely people. ❤️❤️.
