Poison Prevention Awareness! 🚫🐾
Many common household items, plants, and foods can be toxic to pets. Here are a few examples of some common but often overlooked toxins:
🧅 Onions & Garlic – Can cause red blood cell damage and anemia.
🍇 Grapes & Raisins – Can lead to kidney failure, even in small amounts.
🌿 Lilies (for cats) – Highly toxic and can cause kidney failure.
🚬 Ni****ne (including vapes) – Can be extremely toxic, even in small doses.
🍫 Xylitol (found in sugar-free gum, peanut butter, etc.) – Can cause a dangerous drop in blood sugar and liver failure.
💊 Human Medications (Advil, Tylenol, antidepressants, etc.) – Even a small amount can be toxic to pets.
