Dog of the Week - BIJOU

Our Dog of the Week is Bijou. An 8 year old Pomchi X rescued from California with Forever Homes. Bijou is a small dog with a big attitude, however, she is the sweetest girl. Bijou loves to play with her sister Zoe and can be a good instigator for getting Zoe riled up. She loves to run around and is a fast little dog!

She is very sensitive to noises and new things so trick training has been wonderful for her and seeing some of her tricks grow has been really impressive! She loves to learn new things and really takes the time to think about things!

We love having you Bijou! Can't wait to see what else you learn! šŸ¾

Dog of the Week - ZOE

Our Dog of the Week is Zoe. A 6 year old Beagle X who was adopted from Forever Homes in California. Zoe had a rough start and came to Canada as an emergency placement. She found her forever home and is such a fun and loving dog! Zoe loves agility and trick training and has been learning lots of new skills. She is one smart cookie and has springs for legs. She loves the dog park and beating up her sister (who you will meet) and still has tons of energy!

She has a couple odd personality quirks from before that she tries so hard to work through and is so proud of herself when she gets there! She has a habit of offering everything she knows to get a treat but when you slow her down and get her thinking - she catching on extremely fast and just wants to play!

Zoe you are gem and we love spending our weekends with you! ā¤

Who doesn't love to spoil their dogs? I know mine are spoiled ā€“ I get told that frequently. However, dogs are dogs. Treating them like dogs doesnā€™t mean less love; it means giving them what they need to feel confident and secure. By honoring their unique needs as dogs, we help them feel understood and safe. Give them the joy of being a dog, full of play, learning, and positive leadership.

Dog of the Week - Burt Reynolds

Our dog of the week is Burt! Burt is a young dog who was adopted from Almost Home Canine Rescue and now lives with his sister Nevada (last weeks Dog of the Week). Burt absolutely loves agility and trick training and is a very smart guy! He has the best 'bang' we have ever seen and flops over so dramatically, it really shows his big, fun personality!

Burt is not the most graceful guy and has caused many laughs with his exuberance. Check tik-tok for his fun video! Burt puts 110% into everything and it has been a joy to watch his confidence and his skills grow!

Dog of the Week - NEVADA

Our dog of the week is Nevada! Nevada is a young dog who was adopted from Almost Home Canine Rescue and now lives with her brother Burt. Nevada loves trick training and agility. She catches onto things quickly and watching her learn is so enjoyable!

Nevada is a hugger and as big as she is she loves to put her paws up and lean onto you for a big hug while she stares at you happily. She hates posing for pictures and as you can see she does have ears but likes to make herself look like a seal most of the time! (Sorry Nevada!) She also has the most adorable but big bark when she has stuff to say, she lets you know it!
