When people ask if their dog is too old… They are never to old to learn! A little slower, pretty much deaf and more easily distracted, Molly is 14 years old and still loves agility! Agility Training Demonstration Video! Canine Connection Training Centre has upcoming dates for our agility programs. Introduction to Agility requires no previous knowledge or experience. Our Introduction to Agility class will work on building a strong relationship through engagement and play. You and your dog will learn the game of agility by working on flatwork, handler focus, targeting, body awareness and much more so that you can be successful at agility. For teams who have a little more experience we have a couple of programs for you! Our Contacts and Weaves class will focus on creating and maintaining clear criteria and safe obstacle performance for your dog, and start proofing that performance with different handling scenarios. Our Skills and Drills class will be focusing on short sequences and different handling maneuvers like front, blind and rear crosses, backsides and threadles, developing speed and distance skills as well as pinwheels and serpentines.
