Happy hump day
Dark nights and muddy mornings. You've got to love the turning wheel of time. It was a really tough day for the dog team. We always see a rise in dogs being released from service this time of year. To make sure those not needed anymore aren't stuck in kennels over the cold season. There are some tough cases right now, and although we support with some forces, it's often a very one-sided relationship. We've seen our heroes used for their purposes, and then those unwanted often discarded. The forces who fight alongside bolster our strength to keep pushing for this retirement retreat, which every day becomes the next heroes lifeline
IT IS IN MY NATURE TO BE KIND, GENTLE, AND LOVING. BUT KNOW THIS: WHEN IT COMES TO MATTERS OF PROTECTING THOSE WHO PROTECT ME, DO NOT TRIFLE WITH ME, FOR I AM ALSO THE MOST POWERFUL AND RELENTLESS CREATURE YOU WILL EVER KNOW
I will fight to the bitter end for those who can not fight for themselves.
Too often, the defenceless are used for someone else's gain. Even in the charity world, we see this way too often. No true care of the hero or family but a collection of toys, numbers to goad others, chips to cash.
Dogs who have given everything, loyalty, trust, and courage are treated as tools, then cast, aside when their service is done. Often exploited, overworked, or abandoned once they're no longer "useful."
That's why we fight.
Our mission isn't just to rescue these incredible dogs, its to restore their faith in humanity. To remind them that there are still people who care, who see their worth, I, and who will give them the peace and comfort they earned.
We will never turn away, and we will never stay silent.
We will stand between them and harm, we will speak for them when others won't, and we will fight fiercely and without apology for every single one.
Because kindness is ur strength.
Compassion is our weapon.
And justice or the defenceless is our cause.
Join us in this fight.
Every share, donation, or kind word helps us rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs who once protected us. Together, we can make sure they are never used, forgotten, or left behind again.
