Another year is coming to a close, we here at MEOW Thrift wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you to our volunteers for all the strength, support and kindness you offer. Thank you to our donors, who stock our store with almost everything we carry. Thank you to our customers, through every dollar spent here, you help to support kitties in need.

Because of you all we get to run this amazing store! By shopping here you support MEOW's many programs including SNAP and TNR, you support a local business with a variety of products with affordable prices, by buying used items you support the world by becoming more sustainable. Lastly you support all the people who choose to spend their time volunteering with us, we have had the opportunity to make many lasting relationships and been able to build a strong community of our own.

Cat Lovers rejoice! Calgary’s first Cat Café brings cats and coffee together in PURRfect harmony. Cuddle and play with our adorable adoptable kitties from MEOW Foundation while enjoying a delicious locally made coffee or treat.

We wanted to make a meaningful impact to help cats in need, and what better way than to connect cats and cat lovers in this fun and relaxing environment. For those not looking to adopt, we offer a one-of-a-kind experience to enjoy some ‘fuzz therapy’ with our resident kitties. As Sigmund Freud said, “Time spent with cats is never wasted”.

We’ve partnered with local bakers, makers, coffee roasters, and tea blenders to help other enthusiastic small businesses share their beautiful products and grow their businesses. Together as a community we can do great things and we look forward to becoming a staple in the Kensington community for years to come.
