The little ones have paced themselves well this morning and take full advantage of when the big ones head outside for a break.
It’s good to pace yourself when you’ve got a full day ahead.
Turtle
When I was 4 we had a turtle so whenever one of the small dogs gets on a bed and I start scratching and they “turtle” it makes me happy.
Essee is a master at turtling.
Who would have thought that on a November morning it would be so nice outside that over 40 dogs can easily “chill” while our 2 youngest puppies play inside.
New tricks
They say that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks so I’m guessing that Caoimhe had some tricks up her short sleeves that she wanted to keep hidden.
Caoimhe seemed tired and not very social when she started coming 2 1/2 years ago at the age of 12 but over time she has become the happiest and flirtiest senior dog at the daycare.
You go girl!
We have 1 new dog starting today and his name is Sully. Since he’s here on a Thursday and Thursday tend to be a really busy start to the day, Sully get to experience the full “dog” experience rather than a normal slow start to the day. So far Sully is a superstar, fitting in perfectly and soon to be lost in the crowd.
Welcome to the Pack Sully, we hope you have an outstanding day.
Amber often takes a dog or two with her on her afternoon lunch breaks so today, before my afternoon shift started, I thought I’d take a dog from her for my break.
Good girl Brewster. Good girl.
We have 1 new dog starting today and her name is Mya. Since it’s so close to Halloween you could forgive Mya for being nervous and thinking that she was supposed to dress up like another dog (her Roxi costume is amazing) but I think as the day progresses and the dogs start to settle down from this weird weather day, she’ll take off her costume and make a ton of new friends.
Welcome to the Pack Mya, we hope you have a terrific day!
Lincoln chewing in slo mo, as was his birthday request.
Lincoln asked if there was any way that his birthday could last forever and I said “record the day in slo mo dude.”
You should see him chew in slo mo.
Dizzy
Puppies make me dizzy.
Doodle v wheaton
Our tan doodles were asking “what’s the difference between a doodle cut and a wheaton cut” so Maisie headed outside with them to discuss. I heard something about “the tail” but wasn’t sure if that had to do with the trim or how wheatons hold theirs differently.
