Got to work with one of my all time favourite breeds today! Duke is having some anxiety issues and his big brother Guapo was there for moral support 🥰

Such beautiful dogs! Now that "Mom" has some more tools in her tool-belt we'll be seeing a lot of the current issues go away sooner than later I'm sure!

The majority of the clients I've been taken has been online lately and with my last litter of puppies going to their new homes at the beginning of August it's been a busy summer!

Sadly no pictures but two new clients yesterday! A super sweet golden who gets a littttle too riled when company comes over and a nasty habit of counter surfing and a very handsome shepherd X who needs to walk nicer and give his humans a break on the pulling.

With the warm weather it's really been picking up for people wanting to take their dogs on pleasant outdoor walks! So this is Mach, you may remember this gorgeous dutch shepherd whose picture I posted about a month ago when we started working together.

When I met Mach he couldn’t get within 15 feet without reacting aggressively, today he was within two feet from one of my dogs and although there was a moment of tension he’s made AMAZING progress - mostly due to his incredibly dedicated owner.

Goes to show how much progress you can make if you put in the work. ❤️ I’m just sorry I don’t have a “before” video because this transformation has been very cool to be apart of.

Note to self (and others) don’t take your dog out on a long line to practice long distance commands and recall with your toddler. 👀😉

Well! Today was a two-fer because I also got to meet and do some training with the absolutely adorable Gracie whose owners wanted a “new puppy 101”. She’s a smart, beautiful pup whose family is incredibly devoted. (Also “dad” is clearly a photographer!)

Got to meet Mach and his lovely owner Jennifer today! Mach is already incredibly trained and obedient but is having some issues with on-leash dog reactivity. For the next several weeks we will be doing threshold training to get this beautiful dog in the right headspace regardless of his situation. Can’t wait!
