A little example of plant adaptation. Each year we bring this Meyer lemon tree indoors for the winter, and then back outside for the spring and summer. It compensates for the difference in light by producing leaves nearly 10 x the surface area of the summer leaves, due to the difference in lighting. Generally, most is the larger leaves will fall off again once it returns to the outdoors and the whole cycle begins again! 😊❤️🌱
