Petland Canada is proud to partner with Pets In the Classroom. 🐠🦎🐹

The Pets in the Classroom Grant Program offers teachers of pre-kindergarten through ninth grade in both public and private schools financial support to help purchase and maintain classroom pets through direct, hassle-free educational grants. Teachers can obtain grants or coupons for new pets and pet environments, or for pet food and supplies for existing classroom pets. 📚✏️🍎

HOW TO APPLY: Simply visit www.petsintheclassroom.org and fill out the application. If you qualify, Pets in the Classroom will send a coupon directly to you for support with your classroom pets.

Take a look at this beautiful planted waterfall that is located at Petland Crossroads in Winnipeg! 🌿💧

Their fish and reptile manager Andy has put SO much hard work into creating this beautiful arrangement. Did you know that a variety of plants can safely grow out of aquariums? The waterfall is planted with Golden Pothos, a variety of Bromeliads (mostly Neoregelia and Guzmania), a variety of air plants (multiple types of Tillandsia), Peace Lilies, Philodendron Scandens, and a few types of floaters! 🌱🪴

In the pond tank, Andy has a wide variety of fish as well, including Parkinson’s Rainbowfish, Bleeding Heart Tetras, Red-Eyed Tetras, Paradise Gouramis, assorted Cory’s and a Red Geophagus named Pablo! 🐠

To kick off our series against the Sioux City Explorers, we’re hosting Manitoba Social Night presented by and ! The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a Fred Penner bobblehead! 🤩 We’ll also have another great post-game fireworks show from ! 🎆

On Saturday, we host our eighth annual Bark in the Park presented by and in support of ! 🐶 First 1,000 dogs receive a treat bag courtesy of ! You won’t want to miss this one! 🐕
