Woof Willow Grand Opening

Homemade Dog Toothpaste
February is Pet Dental Health Month, so we're continuing with our sharing of dental health tips!
In this video, I'm making homemade dog toothpaste with Baie Run Pet Products coconut oil, and The Adored Beast Apothecary Love Bugs which are on sale for 20% off this month!
Coconut oil has a yummy taste and has anti-bacterial properties which make it a great base for toothpaste. And of course the probiotics are full of good bacteria to help combat the bad bacteria in your dog's mouth.
If you can brush your dog's teeth daily it's ideal, but most people won't do that. If you can do it a few times a week, that's better than nothing! We have several types of toothbrushes to choose from.
Pebbles has a ton of drool, and the biggest, wettest lips on the planet, so she's not an ideal model for this, but she had fun trying to eat the toothpaste, so I consider it a successful video! 😂

Do you ever consider how important choice is in your pursuit of happiness and fulfillment? Think about it… In situations where choice is removed, you feel less free and less in control of your own autonomy.
Now, think about how infrequently your pet gets to make choices. They go where we take them. They eat what we give them. And they play with toys we pick out for them.
A simple way to give your pet a sense of enrichment is to introduce more choice in their lives. Feeding from a platter is one way you can do that.
Putting various items like broth, milks, toppers etc on a platter like the The Original mine Pet Platter gives them the chance to self select how they want to eat.
Such a small thing, but making many of these small changes in a day can help your pet feel happier. Let your dog sniff on their walk and choose the route they want to take.
