People ask us, why don't you go to the dog park?

Unfortunately because we see all of the serious issues that can arise from an environment like this. We see all of the dogs getting attacked or injured, then building a fear based response towards new dogs and the owners having to work with this stuff every day. We see the dogs that catch some kind of disease or illness from being there. We see the dogs the learn very quickly they can ignore their owner with recall. We see the dogs that think it's normal to run up to every dog they see to play, then when they are on a walk they have explosive barrier frustration because they want to go see that dog and normally they are able to, but now they can't.

We always emphasize to our clients the importance of being able to set your dog up for success and advocate for them in different situations. Focus on controlled settings with dogs you know and trust, take your dog out to a field and put them on a long line. Take advantage of private off areas you can rent out hourly.
