We board all types of cats and specialize in cats with medical conditions or medications. We are inspected yearly by the Strathmore Animal Care Centre in order to always provide a safe, clean, stimulating and healthy environment for your cat. We service all areas of Calgary, as well as the surrounding areas and other provinces, for those customers who fly out of the Calgary International Airport.

We have large and spacious 3 level condos and ample room for your cat to play. We offer pick up and drop off services to and from your home or the airport. The Cat's Meow Inn is the purrfect getaway for your cat, when you get away.

Thank you to everyone who helped to find furever homes for these 4 cats. You all helped to save a life. Did you know that 2 of these 4 cats were up for euthanasia? Through no fault of their own. Simply due to over crowding at their previous shelters. These are the sweetest cats and they deserve a loving home. A big thank you to for stepping up and taking them in to give them a chance at life. Please remember to look at the small, no kill rescues if you are looking to adopt an animal. They do a lot of good work and save a lot of lives with very little fanfare or funding. ❤️

💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔Oh Vinny. We were absolutely shocked to hear of the sudden passing of one of our regulars. Vinny AKA- Big Guy,Vinny the Enforcer, Vincenzo. He unexpectedly passed away at home in his favorite place in the house, the sunroom, with his cat sister and humans with him, surrounding him with love, not long before his 15th birthday. He had been coming to the Inn since 2016. Vinny was a bit of a character. He was very regal looking and extremely handsome. He looked a bit menacing due to his size and looks of disdain he could give, but he was just a big old softy and didn't have a mean bone in his body. ("Unless he was hangry, then he could get a little testy until his food was served, but he would never hurt you, just grumble") 😹He was an "extra large" long haired black cat. He wasn't overweight, he was just big! Because of his size, his mom made him a custom cat bed, complete with a changeable cover for his visits here because he wouldn't really fit in a standard cat bed comfortably. Vinny always arrived here with his own little retro Samsonite suitcase packed with his supplies for his "holiday" at the Inn. It would make us smile and giggle every time. Vinny was the king of lounging and giving you the look of disdain if his food was late, he had both mastered. He loved to lounge on a cat tree or in a sunbeam at the front door and bird watch. Vinny is also the reason we no longer have cat trees that are built with an enclosed box with only one opening at the top. We used to have an 8 ft tree with a box with a peak at the top and he would wedge himself in there and stay there for hours, refusing to budge until he was ready or you offered him wet food. One visit, after we spent most of the day coaxing him to come out with no luck, regardless of what we offered him, we had to remove that top and then send that tree off for a redesign. It took a few days before our cat tree builder could pick that tree up to redesign it. The look of disgust we got for the next several days when he would go to that tree and lay on it, wondering where in the heck his favorite top level went, made me have to call my therapist for an appointment.😹😹😹In July of 2020, during Covid, they adopted a companion for Vinny from here, her name was Deja. A senior girl who lost her owner to cancer. Vinny and Deja got on very well and were like a little old married couple, sunning themselves or lounging not far from each other. In the Inn they would lay side by side on the top level of the condo in their beds, looking out the window or napping. I am so glad he had a friend to spend his golden years with. Vinny brought us so much joy and we will miss his his visits here. I am very grateful that we had just had an extended stay with him a few weeks before he passed away. Hugs to his heartbroken humans who loved him and to his sister Deja as they navigate a new normal without him. Thank you Vinny for making us smile and laugh, for helping to improve our cat tree designs and for being the sweetest boy when you were here. It has been an honour to know you. Godspeed on your next journey sir. Please say hi to our other feline friends up there. 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
