We are heartbroken to learn another feline friend crossed the Rainbow Bridge. This sweet old guy came to us in 2019 with a request from his family for help. A sad situation where his elderly owner had to go into care and Kujo was just about to turn 15. A lovely customer of the Inn took him in and gave him the chance to live out his final years in her loving home. She was truly an angel and we were so grateful for her kindness. He fit right in with her home and her senior cat, getting spoiled daily and living out his final years. Kujo was a sweetheart. He was easy going , gentle and loving. His favourite things to do here were bird watching, napping in the sun and Happy Hour. That boy loved his catnip and would have bursts of kitten like energy, rolling around after he would partake. He passed away peacefully, in his favourite spot at the ripe old age of 19 1/2. Hugs to his first family and his second family as they both mourn the loss of their sweet boy. A special thank you to Theresa for letting this boy live out his final years with her family. Godspeed Kujo. We will miss you. Say hi to our other friends up there for us.

We are heartbroken at the sudden and premature loss of another lovely girl. Sweet Miss Gretchen, the bonded sister to Charlie, crossed the Rainbow Bridge just after her she celebrated her 6th birthday. She was a sweet, easy going, loving girl who was not afraid to put her brothers in their place every now and again if she had had enough of their antics. She had the perfect balance of sweetness and authority for her part time job of kitten rearing. Her human fosters for the rescues and so Miss Gretchen and her brothers have been instrumental in helping socialize so many kittens, getting them ready for new homes. Her human and her brothers miss her terribly as do we. Godspeed Gretchen. Say hi to our friends on the other side for us. Hugs to her human and feline family.

We are heartbroken to hear of the sudden passing of sweet little Willow. She was a 7 year old petite tabby girl who was very loving. Her first visit here, she walked in like she owned the place. She was such an easy going girl. Her favorite thing to do here was bird watch from the big cat tree..... that is until she discovered our catnip Happy Hour. She would roll in it and then roll around on the floor. That girl! She was gone too soon and her humans are devasted. Hugs to them on the premature loss of their sweet little girl. Godspeed Miss Willow. Thank you for being such a little doll here on every visit. We will miss you. Say hi to the others up there for us. 💖
