Still looking for something to do on the long weekend? Why not come and try out mantrailing with Out Of Sight Mantrailing?

Mantrailing is suitable for dog-reactive dogs, and human-reactive dogs (that do not have a bite history) This sport allows dogs to use their noses to find human scent an dis highly engaging and fun for dogs of all ages and breeds. No experience in any sport required!

We have limited spots in our afternoon Introductory Seminar (we filled the am seminar the day we opened registration - thank you!)

The intro seminar will be required to come to any future trailing sessions held. As soon as the weather is warmer and the days are longer, we will be doing evening trailing sessions. I can't wait!

Did you know ......
That dogshow.ca can be used by event secretaries for NASDA events?

TLC Training will be using this for all trial entries going forward, and our first event in February is posted.

With dogshow.ca, you can sign up to be emailed about events in different categories. To be notified of NASDA trials that are using dogshow.ca as their trial secretary platform, configure your setting to receive the newsletter and select Scent Detection Trials.

Trial secretaries, I highly recommend you contact dogshow.ca for a demo of the secretary features. Their developer will be working with me to get judging sheets configured which will save loads of time.

TLC offered 2 NASDA trials in 2021, the first in Alberta. There are already 3 planned trials in Alberta in 2022 - come learn about these fun events and join the fun!

North American Sport Dog Association (NASDA) is a rapidly growing scent sport venue for all breeds of dogs. Formed in 2016, NASDA strives to demonstrate the breadth of canine olfactory abilities. Trials are designed to resemble both working and competitive fieldwork. Teams can earn titles and championships showcasing their abilities in hunting and searching situations.

NASDA already has 57 clubs approved to hold trials, spread out across 24 states/provinces in the United States and Canada. Not only that, but the number of titles also earned has jumped from 167 in 2018 to 1676 in 2021! This is really impressive for such a new organization!

So pleased to be able to approve trick titles! Trick training is great for dogs of all ages and you might be surprised that your dog is part of the way to a trick title already!
