Meet Azakar (also called Az or Buddy).
He is currently in need of a new home and we are trying to help find someone who is willing to take on this awesome dude!
Here's a note from his his current family.
Az is super intelligent. He’s also a big fan of belly rubs, and his tail wags enthusiastically whenever his humans give him attention.
He is fully housetrained and has never had an accident inside. He cues his people when he needs to go outside. He is not crate trained but knows to go to his spot. Due to his life before we got him, we avoid using a crate to help his hocks.
Be mindful of not leaving food on counters and ensure that trash cans are not accessible when you leave the house to prevent him from eating tissues.
He is leash reactive but needs to stay on leash as he has zero recall when triggered. He best at a distance from other dogs and with A LOT goodies to help distract. He has played with dogs off leash, but in a very contained space. Az also loves the water; we have a super long lead for that.
He has a strong prey drive, small animals, small dogs, and cats are out.
He is semi polite greeting people; he can get too excited quickly especially around females and needs to be separated. He does eventually settle without issue.
He can sit, down, his stay is no more than a few minutes. He is nose driven in all things. Amazon packages, he will want to sniff it all.
He is food driven but with his allergies most of it is vegetables. He loves them all. Again, be mindful of Az's allergies when offering treats. Stick to vegetables that are safe for him to consume.
