The post that we never wanted to make but we are in very rough shape friends. If things don’t change we will closed down forever.

Last year we made a similar post as our medical bills were stacking up and the community rallied to help us pay them down. Then we regrouped and tried to change some things in hopes to continue helping animals in need.

This pandemic animal crisis is brutal and we just cant keep up. We have tried so many different things in hopes to still be able to help and do our part, but with donations down by 80% it’s a struggle and we just can’t continue without our community’s support. We do not receive any government funding or support being 100% volunteer run.

We have 24 dogs in our care 13 cats, 1 bunny and a family of Guinea pigs. We thought instead of taking in new warriors and having animals sit as we have some dogs sitting for over 3 years without interest… that we would partner with some rescues and do some emergency medical cases, covering their medical to save their lives, & then transfer them to rescues where they can focus on their recovery and adoption. Doing both can be a lot but working together can help more while keeping room open for the next one in need.

We have always taken the harder cases and been the voice for ones who need the most help. When we get those emergency calls we have seconds to jump in and help or the animal looses their life. But we now have to say no. Even with those emergency cases we depleted our accounts and haven’t been able to successfully fundraise those funds back.

When Trooper came in run over by a truck he needed close to 6k in medical with emergency surgery and hospitalization before we transferred him to another rescue to recover… but we only were able to fundraise $710 back. This is just one example of many on top of the regular vetting, food and supplies we spend for the animals we already have in our program monthly.

We do monthly sponsors for our dogs to help cover their food just to keep them fed and that has been a struggle. We have tried so hard, we really have but with every rescue begging for help it’s becoming desensitized the desperation because everyone is hearing it everywhere.

We owe $17,000 in medical debt to Dr.B which is after we have paid down close to 10k. & we owe another 15k for training & boarding. Our medical team & trainers are our back bone. Every staff member at the clinic including Dr.B have fostered, taken animals home to recover or come in on days off to help. Our training team have taken in our dogs no matter the day or time, have done numerous fundraisers for us to help us, done free training and taken in our dogs on the drop of a dime who have no where to go or have minutes before euthanasia’s when shelters wouldn’t give them anymore time. These people are sacrificing the most and we need to acknowledge this.

These people have exceeded way more then what they signed up for, and although they all have been patient with payment plans and being sooo supportive to us… we just can’t sit with debt knowing they have bills to pay too. Without our team we have nothing. They are our backbone and I’m asking everyone to help us keep our team together and pay down our debt. This is not a one man show as we could never do this alone. We wouldn’t want to either. We have an amazing group of people & we need our amazing community to rally together & help us.

If our cry’s fall on deaf ears we have to permanently close which is terrifying. We are always transparent and keep it real and raw with everyone… we need our community’s help, and we need it now. Please fight for us the same way we fight for the underdogs we really need you. We really need a miracle. 🙏🏼 please help us . No donation is too small.

Your dog's microchip information has to be inputted online by you? My Minnie has had her tags on for years and today I used the QR code to see what was on there. Her account wasn't active! So I updated my profile and address etc. I thought this whole time the vet did that when she got chipped! Check your info online people!
